ntes de encender la estufa, controle siempre si la cámara de combustión
¿
está bien recta, moviendola con ayuda del asa ´ un poco a la izquierda y
derecha (fig. E). Esto se efectuará sin ninguna dificultad. Si la cámara de
combustión está desnivelada, se producirían humos y hollín.
D LA COMBUSTION DE LA ESTUFA
Después de encender la estufa, se debe esperar entre 10 y 15 minutos para
comprobar que la estufa está funcionando correctamente. Sólo entonces se podrá
comprobar si la estufa quema debidamente. Una llama demasiado alta puede
provocar la formación de humos y hollín, mientras que una llama demasiado baja
entraña la formación de malos olores. En la página contigua a la hoja desplegable
viene indicada la altura máxima y mínima de la llama (fig. Q).
Si la estufa no sube lo suficiente, se debe ajustar la altura de la mecha.
(vea capítulo F).
Las posibles causas de una llama demasiado baja son:
̈ escaso combustible (llene el depósito)
̈ combustible de mala calidad (consulte a su distribuidor)
̈ insuficiente ventilación (entreabra una puerta o ventana)
̈ desgaste de la mecha (cambiar mecha, capítulo M)
Esta estufa está dotada de un sistema de seguridad que apaga la estufa cuando
se extrae el depósito de la estufa. Para encender la estufa de nuevo, coloque el
depósito de nuevo en la estufa y siga las instrucciones descritas en el capítulo C.
E APAGAR LA ESTUFA
Pulse el botón de apagado ³. La llama se apagará automáticamente.
F EL REAJUSTE DE LA ALTURA DE LA MECHA
Después de pasado algún tiempo, la llama no subirá lo suficiente (capítulo D). En tal
caso, para corregir la llama, puede reajustar la altura de la mecha. Proceda como
sigue:
Oprima el botón de apagado ³ (fig. L).
Extraiga el botón regulador
· de la estufa. De esta manera, el
botón
¸ para la altura de la mecha quedará a la vista.
Coja el anillo de plástico entre el dedo pulgar e índice y tire de él hacia fuera.
Gire el anillo aumentando una posición, bien a la posición 2 o a la posición 3
(fig. M). Oprima el anillo cuidadosamente, de modo que el pestillo penetr
