The basic HEPA (High Efciency Particulate Air) washable

class H12 lter is located at the outlet of the cyclone lter

container. The HEPA 12 washable lter is made of a special

ltration material which enables to rinse the lter under

running water once it becomes dirty and to reuse the lter.

An outlet HEPA class H11 lter (nonwashable) is located at

the outlet of the vacuum cleaner.

The lters have a high ltration capacity; they are made of

special bers which are able to retain almost all dust particles

greater than 0.3 micron. The H11 and H12 classes determine

the ltration effectiveness of a given lter. The HEPA H11

and H12 lter retains 95.5% of particles with the size of 0.3

micron.

Before changing the lters make sure that the vacuum

cleaner is switched off and unplugged from the mains

supply.

BASIC HEPA 12 FILTER

It is necessary to periodically clean the basic HEPA 12 ler

from ne dust fractions.

Dismantle the “CYKLON” dust container and empty the

container according to the instructions in section (E).

Turn the basic HEPA 12 lter in the UNLOCK direction

and remove the lter.

Remove the protective mesh of basic lter (14).

Clean the mesh and dry it thoroughly. Replace the mesh

if damaged.

Clean the pleats of the basic HEPA 12 lter

(13). The

lter can be washed under running water. Thoroughly dry

the lter. In case of damage to the lter pleat, the lter

must be replaced with a new one.

After cleaning and drying the protective mesh and the

basic HEPA 12 lter, install the protective mesh on the HEPA

12 lter and insert the whole unit to the “CYKLON” dust

container.

Press the interlock button and turn the basic HEPA 12

lter (13) in the LOCK direction.

Insert the “CYKLON” dust container together with the

installed basic HEPA 12 lter (13) into the vacuum cleaner

chamber and close the cover by pressing it until you hear

a characteristic “click” according to section (E).

HEPA 11 OUTLET FILTER

To replace the HEPA 11 lter lift the vacuum cleaner

handle and open the accessory compartment.

Grab the lter cover by the fastening, rmly pull with the

thumb and lift it upwards.

Remove the HEPA 11 lter case and replace it with a new

one. The HEPA lter ensures an effective operation of the

vacuum cleaner for about 1 year.

Insert the cover so that the two protrusions in the lower

part of the cover are inserted in the openings of the vacuum

cleaner body, press the lter cover so that the rear fastenings

snap shot on the body.

Release the upper cover fastening

cover.

Remove the SAFBAG dust bag module/the “CYKLON”

dust container from the vacuum cleaner chamber.

Slide the inlet lter casing with the installed inlet lter

from the tracks on the back side of the vacuum cleaner

chamber.

Remove the inlet lter (19) from the inlet lter casing.

Place the new lter in the inlet lter casing (20) with the

material side directed towards the inside of the casing.

Slide the inlet lter casing (20) together with the lter in

the tracks until stop to the previous position.

Alwaysreplaceadamagedinletlter(19)with

abrandnew,originalone.

Insert the SAFBAG dust bag module/the “CYKLON” dust

●

container into the vacuum cleaner chamber.

Close the cover by pressing it until you hear

●

a characteristic click.

Special accessories

The following special accessories may be purchased in retail

outlets:

Zelmer turbobrush (25)

May be used with all types of ZELMER vacuum cleaners. Is

used for an effective vacuuming of carpets and tted carpets.

While using the turbobrush follow the instruction manual.

The use of the turbobrush decidedly increases the

effectiveness of removing brous dirt such as: animal hair,

hair, threads etc. It is practically useful in households with

pets (cats, dogs), where removing the animal hair from the

carpets and oorings is very onerous.

End of operation cleaning and

maintenance

Switch off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the “on/off”

button (7).

Unplug the appliance.

Wind the cord by pressing the cord rewind button (4).

While doing this hold the cord to make sure it is not tangled

and the plug does not hit the vacuum cleaner housing.

Disconnect the telescopic tube from the nozzle or brush.

Disconnect the telescopic tube from the hose. In order to

remove the tube from the hose handle press the “A” locking

device and pull the tube in the direction of the arrow.

Press the two side buttons on the end of the hose and

remove the hose end from the inlet opening of the vacuum

cleaner.
