Afhankelijk van uw netwerkomgeving kunt u kiezen tussen een verbinding via bedrading of een draadloze netwerkverbinding (p. 31).
Via een netwerkverbinding kunt u luisteren naar internetradiozenders en muziekbestanden laten weergeven door dit toestel met AirPlay of met uw computer (mediaservice). U kunt
het toestel bedienen met een mobiel apparaat waarop de app MusicCast CONTROLLER is geïnstalleerd, zodat u via dit toestel kunt luisteren naar allerlei audiobronnen.
•Het is mogelijk dat de toegang tot uw computer of tot het internet die dit toestel nodig heeft wordt
geblokkeerd door beveiligingssoftware op uw computer of door bepaalde netwerkinstellingen (zoals een
firewall). Verander in zo'n geval de instellingen van de beveiligingssoftware en/of die van de
netwerkapparatuur.
•Er kan geen netwerkverbinding tot stand worden gebracht als het MAC-adres filter op uw router is
ingeschakeld. Controleer de instellingen van uw router.
•Als u het subnetmasker van uw router met de hand configureert, moet u hetzelfde subnet dat wordt
gebruikt door dit toestel toepassen op alle apparatuur.
•Als u gebruik wilt maken van diensten op het internet, raden we u een breedbandverbinding aan.
•Als uw router DHCP ondersteunt, hoeven de netwerkinstellingen voor het toestel niet te worden
geconfigureerd. Netwerkparameters (zoals het IP-adres) zullen automatisch worden toegewezen. Als uw
router DHCP niet ondersteunt, of als u de netwerkparameters liever met de hand instelt, dan moet u de
netwerkinstellingen zelf configureren (p. 53).
•U kunt controleren of de netwerkparameters (zoals het IP-adres) correct zijn toegewezen aan het toestel
door “Informatie” (p. 53) te selecteren van het instelmenu.

Netwerkverbindingen via bedrading
Om een netwerkverbinding via bedrading te kunnen gebruiken, moet u het toestel met
een router verbinden via een STP-netwerkkabel (categorie 5 of hoger, rechtstreeks
doorverbonden type; niet meegeleverd).
•Als het toestel reeds verbonden is met een draadloos netwerk en u wilt overschakelen naar een verbinding
via bedrading, dan moet u “Netwerk” in het instelmenu veranderen naar “Wired”.
