TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Cause Remedy
No sound.
The signal from the transmitter is
blocked by your body or metallic
objects, etc.
Change the way of holding, the
orientation, or the position of the
transmitter to avoid your body or
metallic objects blocking the signal.
There is a device (microwave oven,
wireless LAN, etc.) outputting signals in
the 2.4 GHz frequency band nearby.
Relocate the speaker unit and transmitter
away from the device.
The transmitter is too far from the
speaker unit.
Move the transmitter closer to the
speaker unit.
The battery of the iPhone/iPod is low. Charge the iPhone/iPod.
The speaker unit is not turned on. Connect the AC adaptor and power cable
securely.
Connection in progress. Please wait for a while.
The speaker unit and transmitter are
not connected because they are set to
different groups.
Set both the speaker unit and the
transmitter to the same group.
The speaker unit or transmitter is
connected to another AirWired device.
Select a different group by changing the
group selection switches of the speaker
unit and the transmitter.
The protection circuitry has been
activated by excessive volume.
Turn down the volume.
Cannot change the speaker unit’s
volume by changing the volume of
the iPhone/iPod.
The connected iPod is not supported,
or the iPhone/iPod is not connected
securely.
Use a supported iPod, or connect iPhone/
iPod securely.
Transmitter’s status indicator
does not turn off after the iPhone/
iPod was disconnected.
The speaker unit or transmitter is
connected to another AirWired device.
Select a different group by changing the
group selection switches of the speaker
unit and the transmitter.
Speaker unit suddenly produces
sound even though an iPhone/
iPod is not connected.
Sound stops intermittently when
connected wirelessly.
If noise occurs at the same frequency
that the speaker unit and transmitter are
using, they will search for and switch to
another (unused) frequency, which may
cause the sound to stop intermittently.
This is not a malfunction. If the sound
stops frequently, relocate the speaker unit
and transmitter away from a device, such
as a Wi-Fi router.
Red status indicator is flashing
continuously.
The battery of the iPhone/iPod is low. Charge the iPhone/iPod.
Connection failed, or an error occurred
in the speaker unit or the transmitter.
Connect the iPhone/iPod securely.•
Restart the iPhone/iPod.•
Update the iPhone/iPod firmware to the •
latest version.
Select a different group by changing •
the group selection switches of the
speaker unit and the transmitter.
Disconnect the power cable plug, wait •
for a while, and then connect the power
cable plug again.
