Per ottenere un suono naturale con una presenza di impatto
delle frequenze più basse, è necessario regolare il volume e
il bilanciamento del tono tra il subwoofer e i diffusori
anteriori. Seguire la procedura descritta di seguito.
1. Impostare il controllo VOLUME al minimo (0).
2. Attivare l’alimentazione del/dei componente/i collegati
al subwoofer.
Se il componente è collegato alla presa SYSTEM
CONNECTOR del subwoofer, attivare l’alimentazione
del componente.
3. Impostare l’interruttore POWER del subwoofer su ON.
* La spia di alimentazione si illumina in verde.
4. Mandare in riproduzione una sorgente che contenga
basse frequenze e regolare il livello di uscita dei
diffusori anteriori utilizzando il controllo del volume
dell’amplificatore al livello di ascolto desiderato.
(Impostare tutti i controlli del tono sulla posizione
neutra).
5. Regolare il controllo HIGH CUT nella posizione in cui
si riesce ad ottenere la risposta desiderata.
Di solito, si imposta il comando a un livello
leggermente superiore rispetto alla frequenza nominale
minima riproducibile dall’altoparlante anteriore.
* La frequenza nominale minima riproducibile si può trovare nel
catalogo degli altoparlanti o nel manuale dell’utente.
* Il Controllo HIGH CUT non ha alcun effetto sui segnali
d’ingresso ai terminali INPUT 3 LFE.
6. Aumentare gradualmente il volume per regolare il
bilanciamento tra il subwoofer e i diffusori anteriori.
Di solito, si imposta il comando a un livello in cui è
possibile ottenere un po’ più di bassi rispetto a quando
non si utilizza il subwoofer.
7. Impostare l’interruttore PHASE nella posizione che
fornisce la fase più naturale (o quella desiderata).
8. Impostare l’interruttore B.A.S.S. su “MOVIE” o
“MUSIC” a seconda della sorgente riprodotta.
MOVIE:
Quando si riproduce una sorgente video, gli effetti a
bassa frequenza vengono enfatizzati in modo da
consentire agli ascoltatori di udire un suono più
potente. (Il suono sarà più ricco e più profondo.)
MUSIC:
Quando si riproduce una fonte musicale ordinaria, i
componenti eccessivi a bassa frequenza vengono
intercettati per riprodurre un suono più chiaro. (Il suono
conterrà meno bassi e riproddurrà la linea melodica più
chiaramente.)
Nota
Una volta regolato il bilanciamento tra il subwoofer e i
diffusori anteriori, si può regolare il volume dell’intero sistema
utilizzando il controllo di volume dell’amplificatore.
Tuttavia, se si sostituiscono i diffusori anteriori, si dovrà
effettuare nuovamente la regolazione.

Interruttore PHASE
Nella maggior parte delle situazioni, impostare
questo interruttore nella modalità reverse. Tuttavia, a
seconda del sistema di diffusori a disposizione o delle
condizioni di ascolto, si potrebbe essere necessario
selezionare l’interruttore in posizione normale per
ottenere una qualità di suono migliore. Selezionare la
modalità migliore monitorando il suono.
