zoals een cd-speler of DAT-recorder. Voor maximale compatibiliteit en flexibiliteit beschikt het board AIEB2 over twee verschil-
lende ingangstypen: OPTICAL (glasvezel) en DIGITAL (coaxiale kabel).
nElk van de twee aansluitingen (OPTISCH of DIGITAL) kan worden gebruikt; ze kunnen echter niet tegelijkertijd worden gebruikt. Selecteer op de volgende
manier in de modus Utility welke aansluiting wordt gebruikt voor de digitale invoer.
■ Digitale invoer via de optionele mLAN16E
De optionele mLAN16E maakt het u mogelijk dit instrument op een mLAN-apparaat of computer aan te sluiten, waardoor u over
een hoge-snelheids-audio- en -MIDI-dataoverdracht tussen de apparaten beschikt met slechts één IEEE1394-kabelaansluiting.
Aansluiten op externe MIDI-instrumenten
Met een standaard MIDI-kabel (afzonderlijk te koop) kunt u een extern MIDI-apparaat aansluiten en deze bedienen vanaf de
MOTIF ES. Net zo kunt u een extern MIDI-apparaat (zoals een keyboard of sequencer) gebruiken om de MOTIF ES-geluiden aan
te sturen. Hieronder vindt u verscheidene verschillende MIDI-aansluitingsvoorbeelden; gebruik die die het meest lijkt op wat u
voor ogen heeft.
nElk van de volgende interfaces kan worden gebruikt voor MIDI-dataverzending/-ontvangst: de MIDI-aansluitingen, de mLAN-aansluiting (als er een optio-
nele mLAN16E is geïnstalleerd), of de USB-aansluiting. Ze kunnen echter niet tegelijkertijd worden gebruikt. Selecteer met de volgende handelingen in de
modus Utility welke aansluiting wordt gebruikt voor MIDI-dataoverdracht.
■ Aansturen vanaf een extern MIDI-toetsenbord
Gebruik een extern toetsenbord om op afstand de voices van de MOTIF ES te selecteren en te bespelen.
