DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) en DAB+ maken gebruik van digitale signalen voor een helderder geluid en stabielere ontvangst in vergelijking tot analoge
signalen. DAB+ is gebaseerd op de oorspronkelijke DAB-standaard, maar gebruikt een efficiëntere audiocodec.
DAB en DAB+ wordt uitgezonden in datablokken die “ensembles” worden genoemd, waarin zich verschillende radiostations bevinden die tegelijkertijd uitzenden.
DAB en DAB+ kunnen ook een grote hoeveelheid tekstinformatie bevatten, waarmee een station op naam kan worden geselecteerd.
Andere informatie, zoals de naam van het ensemble of de status van het digitale signaal, kunnen worden weergegeven in de DAB-gegevensdisplay.
“DAB” in deze handleiding kan ook betrekking hebben op “DAB+”.
DAB-ontvangst voorbereiden
Alvorens af te stemmen op DAB-stations moet een eerste zoekactie worden uitgevoerd.
1Selecteer in “MusicCast CONTROLLER”, “Tuner”.
2Selecteer “DAB” door de instructies in “MusicCast CONTROLLER” op te volgen.
3Tik in de afspeeldisplay van “MusicCast CONTROLLER”.
4Tik “Eerste Scan” en vervolgens ”Ja“ aan start de eerste zoekactie.
Afstemmen op DAB-stations
1Selecteer in de “MusicCast CONTROLLER”, “Tuner”.
2Selecteer een DAB-station-station door de instructies te volgen in “MusicCast
