Sluit het toestel aan op een router (toegangspunt) met een netwerkkabel of bereid de draadloze antenne voor om een draadloze netwerkverbinding tot stand te kunnen brengen.
U kunt op het toestel genieten van internetradio of muziekbestanden die zijn opgeslagen op mediaservers, zoals pc’s en Network Attached Storage (NAS), op het toestel.
De netwerkkabel aansluiten
Sluit het toestel aan op de router met een in de handel verkrijgbare STP-netwerkkabel
(rechte kabel van CAT-5 of hoger).
•Als u een bekabelde aansluiting (netwerkkabel) wilt gebruiken als een draadloze verbinding tot stand is
gebracht, stelt u “Network Connection” (p. 134) in het menu “Setup” in op “Wired”.
•Als u een router gebruikt die de DHCP-functie ondersteunt, hoeft u geen netwerkinstellingen voor het
toestel te configureren, omdat de netwerkparameters (zoals het IP-adres) er automatisch aan worden
toegewezen. U hoeft de netwerkinstellingen alleen te configureren als uw router geen DHCP ondersteunt
of als u de netwerkparameters handmatig wilt configureren (p. 135).
•In “Network” (p. 144) in het menu “Information” kunt u controleren of de netwerkparameters (zoals het
IP-adres) goed aan het toestel zijn toegewezen.
•Bepaalde beveiligingssoftware die op uw pc is geïnstalleerd of de firewallinstellingen van
netwerkapparaten (bijvoorbeeld een router) kunnen de toegang van het toestel tot de netwerkapparaten of
internet blokkeren. In deze gevallen dient u de instellingen van de beveiligingssoftware of firewall op de
juiste wijze te configureren.
•Elke server moet zijn aangesloten op hetzelfde subnetwerk als het toestel.
•Als u de service via internet wilt gebruiken, wordt een breedbandverbinding ten zeerste aanbevolen.
De draadloze antenne voorbereiden
Als u een draadloze netwerkverbinding tot stand wilt brengen, moet u de draadloze
antenne recht omhoog zetten.

informatie over hoe u het toestel draadloos kunt aansluiten op een netwerkapparaat.
•Oefen niet te veel kracht uit op de antenne. Door te veel kracht kan de antenne beschadigd raken.
