Das Style-Dateiformat (Style File Format, SFF) kombiniert das gesamte Know-How von Yamaha in Bezug
auf die Begleitautomatik (Style-Wiedergabe) in einem einheitlichen Dateiformat. Unter Verwendung des
Style Creators können Sie die Leistungsfähigkeit des SFF-Formats ausnutzen und vollkommen frei eigene
Styles erzeugen.
Das Schaubild unten stellt den Vorgang der Style-Wiedergabe dar. (Gilt nicht für die Rhythmusspur.) Diese
Parameter können über die Style-Creator-Funktion auf der Registerkarte PARAMETER eingestellt werden.

Die Styles des CVP-509/505/503/501 sind kompatibel mit SFF GE – einem erweiterten Format des
ursprünglichen SFF mit besonders vollen und ausdrucksstarken Gitarren-Parts.
HINWEISDie Style-Dateien, die auf dem CVP-509/505/503/501 erstellt wurden, können nur auf Instrumenten abgespielt werden, die mit SFF GE kompatibel sind.

Einstellungen des Quell-Patterns – SOURCE (PLAY) ROOT/CHORD (Seite 32)
Die Style-Daten werden entsprechend der während des Spiels durchgeführten Akkordwechsel umgewandelt.
Sie können das „Source Pattern“, das bestimmt, wie der gespielte Akkord konvertiert wird, in Style Creator
anlegen. Hier lässt sich der „Source Chord“ (Seite 32) einstellen, mit dem Sie Begleit-Kanäle aufnehmen
können.
Einstellungen der Notentransposition – NTR und NTT (Seite 33)
Diese Parametergruppe besteht aus zwei Parametern, die festlegen, wie die Noten des Quell-Patterns bei
Akkordwechseln umgewandelt werden.
Weitere Einstellungen – HIGH KEY, NOTE LIMIT und RTR (Seite 34)
Die Parameter dieser Gruppe dienen der Feineinstellung dafür, wie die Style-Wiedergabe auf die gespielten
Akkorde reagiert. Mit dem Parameter „Note Limit“ (Notengrenze) können Sie die Voices des Style-Klangs so
realistisch wie möglich gestalten, indem Sie die Tonhöhe auf den authentischen Tonhöhenbereich begrenzen,
so dass keine Noten außerhalb des natürlichen Tonumfangs des wirklichen Instruments erklingen (z.B. zu hohe
Noten eines Basses oder zu tiefe Noten einer Piccoloflöte).
