In de CVP-205/203 zijn twee verschillende klankbronnen ingebouwd: Natural en XG. De Natural
klankopwekking en zijn voices hebben een groot wave geheugen, waardoor u een enorme expressieve
controle heeft over het geluid, zeer fijn en gedetailleerd. De XG klankbron (die de Regular Voices opwekt)
biedt een maximale compatibiliteit met een grote verscheidenheid aan apparaten en song data.
De maximum polyfonie voor iedere klankbron is zo verdeeld dat deze voor uw spel zo geschikt mogelijk
is. Meestal worden de songs en stijlen afgespeeld door de XG klankbron, terwijl de Natural Voices vanaf
het toetsenbord worden bespeeld — waardoor u de Natural Voices kunt bespelen met behoud van de
volledige polyfonie, zelfs als de song en de stijl data de polyfonielimiet zou overschrijden.
*Afhankelijk van de geselecteerde stijl in kwestie, kan een Natural voice worden gebruikt voor de begeleiding. Meestal worden songs afgespeeld door de XG voices (blz. 152);
u kunt ze evenwel automatisch “revoicen”— zodat de uitzonderlijk brede en realistische geluiden, kenmerkend voor de CVP-205/203, zullen worden gebruikt (blz. 120).
