[PAGE] knob (Page 23)
Switches between screens in each Mode. Each Mode includes several
screens.

Knobs [A], [B], [C], [1] and [2] (Page 24)
In each Play Mode, these knobs mainly control the functions respectively
assigned to them. In each Edit Mode, each knob is used to enter a value
for the associated parameter shown in the display. Depending on the
operation or the screen you are working in, these knobs will function
differently.
Knobs [A] to [C] can be assigned to system control functions (Page 165).
Knobs [1] and [2] can be assigned control functions that affect Voices
(Page 84).

[DATA] knob (Page 25)
Use this to increase or decrease the value of the parameter at which the
cursor is positioned.

[EF BYPASS] key (Page 66)
Enables/dsiables the Effect Bypass. Press the key (its LED will light) to
bypass the effects used with the current Voice or Performance.
The bypassed effects (Reverb, Chorus, or Insertion) are specified in Utility
Mode (Page 164).

[MASTER KEYBOARD] key (pages 67, 121) (CS6x only)
The S80 keyboard can work as MIDI master keyboard in Performance
mode. When the key is pressed and switched on (the LED will light), the
keyboard can play and control multiple MIDI sound modules connected to
the S80.

[EXIT] key (Page 23)
The menus and screens of the S80 have a hierarchical structure. Press
this key exit from the current screen and return to the previous level in the
hierarchy.

[SHIFT] key (Page 23)
In Voice or Performance Play Mode, a screen for viewing or setting the
Octave parameter and the MIDI Transmit channel (Page 23) is shown
when you press the [SHIFT] key. In any of the Edit Modes, when
pressing this key while turning the [PAGE] knob, a menu screen is
displayed and you can quickly switch between Edit Mode screens (Page
23). If while holding this key you turn one of Knobs [A] ~ [D], [1] ~ [2],
[DATA] knob, or press either [INC/YES] or [DEC/NO] key, you can move
the cursor without a parameter value being changed (Page 24).

Si pulsa el botón SHIFT en el modo de Reproducción de Voces o de
Actuación, aparecerá una pantalla en la que podrá ver o ajustar el
parámetro Octava y el canal de Transmisión MIDI (página 23). Cuan-
do pulse este botón en cualquiera de los modos de Edición (Edit) a la
vez que gira el mando PAGE, se visualizará una pantalla de menús y
podrá cambiar rápidamente entre las pantallas del modo de Edición
(página 23). Si mantiene pulsado este botón y gira uno de los mandos
A - D, 1 - 2, DATA, o pulsa INC/YES o DEC/NO, podrá mover el
cursor sin cambiar ningún valor de los parámetros (página 24).
P Mando PAGE (página 23)
Este mando conmuta entre las pantallas de cada uno de los modos.
Cada modo incluye varias pantallas.
{ Mandos A, B, C, 1 y 2 (página 24)
En cada uno de los modos de Reproducción, estos mandos controlan
principalmente las funciones asignadas a cada uno de ellos. En cada
modo de Edición, los mandos se utilizan para introducir un valor del
parámetro asociado que aparece en la pantalla. Según sea la opera-
ción o la pantalla en la que se esté trabajando, estos mandos tendrán
una función diferente.
Los mandos A a C pueden asignarse a funciones de control de siste-
ma (página 165).
Los mandos 1 y 2 pueden asignarse a funciones de control que afec-
tan a las Voces (página 84).
} Mando DATA (página 25)
Utilice este mando para aumentar o disminuir el valor del parámetro
en el que esté situado el cursor.
q Botón EF BYPASS (página 66)
Este botón activa y desactiva el efecto Bypass. Pulse el botón (se iluminará el
diodo) para pasar por alto los efectos utilizados en la Voz o Actuación actual.
Los efectos bajo la acción de este control (reverberación, chorus o inserción)
se especifican en el modo de Utilidades (página 164).
w Botón MASTER KEYBOARD (páginas 67, 121) (sólo CS6x)
El teclado S80 puede funcionar como teclado maestro MIDI en el
modo de Actuación. Cuando se pulsa y activa el botón (diodo ilumi-
nado), el teclado podrá reproducir y controlar múltiples módulos de
sonido MIDI conectados al S80.
e Botón EXIT (página 23)
Los menús y las pantallas del S80 tienen una estructura jerárquica.
Pulse este botón para salir de la pantalla actual y volver al nivel ante-
rior de la jerarquía.
