Quando viene ricevuto un messaggio ON nel modo General MIDI, il
sistema MIDI verrà riportato alle sue impostazioni di default.
Questo messaggio richiede circa 50 millisecondi per l’esecuzione,
per cui bisognerebbe lasciare passare un tempo sufficiente prima di
inviare il messaggio successivo.

La dimensione dei dati deve corrispondere con quella del parametro
(2 o 4 bytes).
Quando viene ricevuto un messaggio XG System On, il sistema MIDI

La ricezione del messaggio XG SYSTEM ON fa reinizializzare i
relativi parametri e i valori di Control Change. Il messaggio richiede
all’incirca 50 millisecondi per l’esecuzione, per cui bisogna lasciare
intercorrere un tempo sufficiente prima di inviare il messaggio
successivo.
Il messaggio XG Native Parameter Change può contenere due o
quattro byte di dati di parametro (secondo la sua dimensione).
• Per le informazioni riguardanti i valori di Address e Byte Count, fate
riferimento alla Tabella 1 sotto riportata. Dovete notare che il valore
Total Size della tabella vi fornisce la dimensione di un bulk block
(blocco dati). Soltanto l’indirizzo superiore del blocco (00H, 00H,
00H) è valido come indirizzo di bulk data.
