 Do not touch the device with damp or wet hands.
 Before starting the device, please check the units operating voltage. The correct voltage is
printed on the identification plate.
 The HRT 7610 is powered through an USB port. Make sure the USB port is able to provide
the required output current printed on the HRT 7610. In case you plug in additional USB de-
vices to the supplied USB-cable, the USB-port needs to deliver additional power.
 The receiver shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing water, and no objects
filled with liquids, such as a vase, shall be placed on the apparatus.
 Plug out the receiver from the wall outlet before cleaning. Clean the receiver with a
soft cloth or mild solution of washing-up liquid (no solvents).
 The cable is mantled and isolates current. Do not place any devices on the cable otherwise
the protective function may be lost. Avoid stresses on the cable especially at plugs and sock-
ets.
 If you want to pull out the plug from the socket always pull the plug and not the cord as it may
tear.
 For additional safety during a thunderstorm or when being unattended for longer periods:
disconnect the receiver from the mains and the antenna plug from the antenna/cable socket.
This will prevent from damage caused by to lightning and excess voltage.
 An external antenna should not be located nearby power lines or other power circuits. Be
extremely careful while installing such antennas as touching power lines may be lethal.
 In order to prevent damage to property or personal injuries and grant a smooth operation hire
a specialized company to carry out the installation of outdoor antennas.
 A outdoor antenna shall be grounded in accordance with the regulations.
 Refrain from attaching additional devices not recommended by the manufacturer
 The receiver is able to display a still image on the TV screen for an unlimited time span. This
may cause damage on the screen.
 Plasma/OLED/LCD-TV: do not operate the device in 4:3 mode (pillar box) for a longer period
as it may cause damage on the panel. See the television manual for details.
 Do not turn up the volume in case of quiet passages as it may cause damage on the speak-
ers when a louder passage starts.
 Do not leave the device exposed to a heat source or in a high temperature location, such as
radiators or stoves.
 Avoid heat build-up inside the receiver
 Put the receiver indoor in order to avoid lightening, raining or sunlight.
 Do not expose the receiver and remote control to direct light as it may cause damage.
 The unit heats up in service. This is normal and not a malfunction.
 The antenna* has a magnetic base. Keep it away from debit cards, video tapes, CRT televi-
sions and all other devices that may be damaged or affected by magnets.
