4. Steek de Software and Documentation disc (cd met software en documentatie) in het relevante
station op uw computer. Het installatieprogramma start automatisch, tenzij Autorun op uw
computer is uitgeschakeld. Als het installatieprogramma niet start, navigeert u naar het
cd-romstation van uw computer en dubbelklikt u op het installatiebestand Setup.exe.
Opmerking: Als de Software and Documentation disc (cd met software en documentatie) niet
beschikbaar is, kunt de nieuwste stuurprogramma's downloaden via
www.xerox.com/office/WC6505drivers.
5. Als het installatiemenu wordt weergegeven, klikt u op Printerdriver installeren en accepteert u
de licentieovereenkomst.
Het venster Installatie van Xerox-printer wordt geopend.
6. Selecteer uw printer in de weergegeven lijst.
7. Wanneer het venster met installatieopties verschijnt, klikt u op Installeren.
8. Klik wanneer de installatie is voltooid op Voltooien.
Het printerstuurprogramma is geïnstalleerd.
Het scannerstuurprogramma installeren:
1. Klik op Scannerdriver installeren in het installatiemenu.
2. Klik op Volgende om het installatieprogramma te starten.
3. Accepteer de licentieovereenkomst en klik op Volgende.
4. Klik op Voltooien als de installatie is voltooid.
5. De Windows-wizard Nieuwe hardware gevonden wordt weer geopend. Ditmaal klikt u op Ja,
alleen deze keer en vervolgens op Volgende.
6. Selecteer De software automatisch installeren (aanbevolen) en klik op Volgende.
7. De wizard zoekt uw printer op en geeft de bijbehorende .inf-bestanden weer. Selecteer het
.inf-bestand voor uw Windows-besturingssysteem:
• Vista: D:windows scan\x86vista\xrsmnim.inf
• XP, Windows Server 2003: D:windows scan\x86\xrsmnim.inf
• Vista 64 bit: D:windows scan\x64vista\xrsmnim.inf
• XP 64 bit: D:windows scan\x64\xrsmnim.inf
8. Selecteer Volgende.
9. Het installatieprogramma wordt gestart en voert de installatie uit.
U kunt nu afdrukken en scannen. Zie Afdrukken op pagina 59 voor meer informatie over afdrukken.
