Ablageoptionen
Diese Optionen dienen zur Angabe des Namens und Formats der Scandatei. Folgende Optionen stehen
zur Verfügung:
• Dokumentenname: Name, unter dem die Datei gespeichert wird.
• Dateiformat: Format der zu erstellenden Datei.
Berichtsoptionen
Diese Optionen dienen zur Aktivierung von Bestätigungsblatt und Auftragsprotokoll.
• Bestätigungsblatt: Enthält Angaben über das Ergebnis des Scanauftrags und wird nach Abschluss
des Auftrags am Gerät gedruckt.
• Auftragsprotokoll: Ermöglicht das Drucken der Liste der letzten vom System verarbeiteten
Aufträge.
Bildeinstellung für Scannen
Hier können Bildoptimierung, Durchsuch- und Komprimierungsoptionen gewählt werden. Folgende
Optionen stehen zur Verfügung:
• Optimiert für schnelle Webanzeige: Das Gerät wird so eingestellt, dass die Bilddatei zur Anzeige
im Web optimiert wird.
• Durchsuchbare Optionen: Hiermit wird angegeben, ob der Dateiinhalt durchsucht werden kann.
Außerdem können Sprachoptionen gewählt werden.
• Textkomprimierung: Bei der Ausgabe einer Datei im Format PDF oder PDF/A kann der Text nach
Bedarf komprimiert werden.
Kompressionsfähigkeit
Es empfiehlt sich, PDF-Komprimierung als Standardoption auszuwählen. Sie ist für die meisten
Vorlagenarten geeignet. Die Optimierung wird automatisch anhand der Vorlage ausgeführt und ist
sowohl für Vorlagen, die eine Mischung aus Text und Bildern enthalten, als auch für Vorlagen, die nur
aus Text oder nur aus Bildern bestehen, verfügbar.
• CCITT Group 4 (G4 MMR): Ermöglicht die verlustfreie Komprimierung. Dieses Format wird von
den meisten Plattformen unterstützt, allerdings kann der Grad der Komprimierung in Abhängigkeit
vom Dokument gering ausfallen.
• JBIG2: Diese Art der Komprimierung wird i. d. R. für Text- und Rasterbilder verwendet. Für dieses
Komprimierungsformat ist Acrobat 5 mit PDF, Version 1.4 oder höher, erforderlich.
• Flate-Komprimierung: Wird für zweifarbige und Farbbilder sowie für allgemeine Daten verwendet.
Es handelt sich um ein verlustfreies Komprimierungsformat mit LZ77- und anpassbarer Huffman-
Codierung (RFC 1951).
• MR-Kompression: Ermöglicht die Anpassung der Komprimierung, die auf rasterbasierte Bilder
angewendet wird.
