Handleiding voor de gebruiker

GUI-methode

1. Meld u aan als root-gebruiker.

2. Vanaf het hoofdbureaublad selecteert u de pictogrammen Systeembeheer: Printers: Printer

Manager.

3. Selecteer Printer: Extern toevoegen: Unix.

4. Voer de volgende informatie in het formulier Externe Unix-printer toevoegen in:

a. Host: hostnaam.

Waarbij de hostnaam de hostnaam is van het apparaat, vanuit het bestand /etc/hosts.

b. Printer: de naam van de wachtrij die wordt gecreëerd.

Bijvoorbeeld: dc xxxq.

c. Selecteer OK om het formulier te voltooien.

5. Selecteer OK in het venster met het bericht.

6. Selecteer Host:Afsluiten.

7. Selecteer Bestand: Sluit deze directory.

8. Selecteer Bestand: Sluit deze directory.

9. Selecteer Opslaan in het venster met de waarschuwingsbevestiging.

10. Voer Afsluiten in om u bij de rootaccount af te melden.

11. Open een Unix-venster.

tty-methode

1. Voer su in voor toegang tot de modus voor supergebruikers.

2. Voer rlpconf om een printer te creëren.

3. Voer de volgende informatie in:

a. Printernaam: queuename

b. Externe printer: r

c. Hostnaam: hostname

d. Als de informatie correct is ingevoerd, typt u y

4. Selecteer Enter om de standaardinstellingen voor een externe niet-SCO-printer te accepteren.

5. Selecteer Enter om de standaardinstellingen voor een niet-standaardprinter te accepteren.

6. Selecteer Enter om het proces voor het toevoegen van een wachtrij te starten.

7. Typ q om het rlconf-programma af te sluiten.
