paints, propellant, cleaning agents etc.) inside or within the
vicinity of the appliance or ventilation grill.
Chemically aggressive substances can corrode the appliance
and invalidate any warranty.

FITTING AND MODIFICATIONS
Fitting the appliance and any controls to the appliance may only
be carried out by a competent engineer in accordance with the
current Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
Flue systems must not be modified in any way other than as
described in the fitting instructions. Any misuse or
unauthorised modifications to the appliance, flue or associated
components and systems could invalidate the warranty. The
manufacturer accepts no liability arising from any such actions,
excluding statutory rights.
SERVICING
Advise the user to have the system serviced annually by a
competent, qualified and registered Gas engineer. Approved
spares must be used to help maintain the economy, safety and
reliability of the appliance.
IMPORTANT
The service engineer must complete the Service Record on the
Service Checklist after each service.
INSTALLATION REGULATIONS
Current Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations:
All gas appliances must be installed by a competent person in
accordance with the above regulations. Failure to install
appliances correctly could lead to prosecution.
The appliance must be installed in accordance with, and
comply to, the current: Gas Safety Regulations, IEE
Regulations, Building Regulations, Building Standards
(Scotland) (Consolidation), Building Regulations (Northern
Ireland), local water by-laws, Health & Safety Document 635
(The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989) and any other local
requirements.

INSTALLATIONS OF A RATED INPUT GREATER THAN 70 kW
BS6644 Specification for Installation of gas-fired hot water
boilers of rated inputs between 70 kW (net) and 1.8 MW (net)
(2nd and 3rd family gases). BSEN15417:2006 Gas-fired
central heating boilers. specific requirements for condensing
boilers with a nominal heat input greater than 70 kW but not
exceeding 1000 kW.
BSEN15420 Gas-fired central heating boilers. Type C boilers
of nominal heat input exceeding 70 kW, but not exceeding
1000 kW.
IGE/UP/2 Gas installation pipework and compressors on
industrial and commercial premises.
IGE/UP/10 Installation of gas appliances in industrial and
commercial premises, part 1: flued appliances.
