4.5 Setting of the temperature
WARNING! To disconnect the appliance from the mains, you must
unplug the appliance or use a cut-off device.
NOTICE! If you want to switch off the appliance for a longer period of time,
disconnect it from the mains (unplug!). S. also Chapter
« DECOMMISSIONING, TEMPORARILY ».
❖ The temperature of the appliance can be set manually by pressing the relevant
button until the desired value will be indicated on the control panel; s. chapter 4.3
CONTROL PANEL: OPERATING BUTTONS AND INDICATORS.
❖ When you set a temperature, you set an average temperature for the whole
appliance. Temperatures inside each area may vary from the temperature value
indicated on the display, depending on how much food you store and where you
place them. Ambient temperature may also affect the actual temperature inside
the appliance. When you set the temperature of the appliance these aspects should
be taken into account
The set temperature can be changed as needed.
When the ambient temperature is very high, it is recommended to set the
temperature of the appliance to a colder setting if needed. If the colder setting
should cause strong formation of encrusted ice, please select a lower setting.
High ambient temperatures and simultaneously operating at the coldest setting
may make the compressor to operate permanently to keep the temperature
constant inside the appliance.
