4.5 Setting of the temperature
➢ The settings of the temperature of both the fridge and freezer can be adjusted
manually by pressing the relevant buttons (button "ROOM" (A) for the selection
of the compartment = fridge or freezer / button "TEMPERATURE" (C) for the
setting of the temperature in the respective compartments) until the desired
values will be indicated (s. chapter 4.3 OPERATING BUTTONS AND DISPLAY).
➢ When you set a temperature, you set an average temperature for the whole
refrigerator. Temperatures inside each area may vary from the temperature
values indicated on the display, depending on how much food you store and
where you place them. Ambient temperature may also affect the actual
temperature inside the appliance. When you set the temperature of both the
fridge and freezer these aspects should be taken into account
The SMART MODE is the default setting

, when you operate the appliance for
the first time (s. chapter 4.6 SELECTION OF THE MODES / SMART MODE).
The temperatures of both the fridge and freezer can be changed manually as
needed.
The operating buttons of the display will be locked automatically after each
operation. Before you can carry out further settings of the temperatures or
modes you always have to press the unlock button (D) for 3 seconds to unlock
the operating buttons.
To perform the following settings the display must be unlocked.
TEMPERATURE SETTING OF THE FRIDGE:
❖ The adjustable temperature range is from +8
0
C to +2
0
C.
1. If the operating buttons are locked (8), press the unlock
button (D) for 3 seconds. The operational status indicator of the
key lock (8) goes off. The operating buttons are unlocked.
2. For the selection of the compartment (fridge / freezer) press the
button "ROOM" (A) repeatedly until the indicator of the
temperature of the FRIDGE (1) flashes.
