Cleaning or replacing the blade
3 Blunt blades should not be resharpened but replaced.
1. Lift the locking mechanism (1) and pull the sliding shoe away
to the back (2).
2. Remove the blade from the battery-powered shears.
3. Grease the plastic ring of the blade using petroleum jelly.
4. Clean the visible part of the gearbox and lubricate it with grease
if necessary.
5. Fix the blades in place on the gearbox cover
.
6. Slide the sliding shoe over the battery-powered shears until the
locking mechanism engages (blade will automatically
snap into the gearbox).
