Operation
Assembly of cable relief holder (fig. M6/M7)
Attaching of grassbox (fig. B1)
Lift deflector lid, locate grassbox hook into opening of chassis (see arrow) and replace lid.
Use of height adjustment (fig. B2)
Only when mower is stationary and rotating blade has come to complete standstill. Holdmowerbyhandle grip fittedon the
rearof the chassis andlift slightly. Pull outblack knobain the centre of left-hand wheels at the rear. Hold knob and push wheel
upwards or downwards allowing knob to engage into one of the position holes as required (follow indicator to determine cutting
height). Proceed with left-hand wheel at front of chassis in the same way.
Selection of Cutting height
If possible, mow when grass is dry in order to protect turf. Do not se cutting position too low when mowing very hight or wet grass.
We recommend an average cutting height of 4,0 cm.
Connecting to the mains (230 Volts, A.C., 50 Hz)
The mower operates from any normal household mains supply, provided with a 10 Amps. fuse.
Note: Use a residual current device (RCD) rated for a residual current not greater than 30 mA.
Starting (fig. B3/B4)
Switch on motor with mowerplaced on level and firm ground, not in high grass - alternatively tilt slightly.

2. Lift up bar and release button (2).

Always let cable trail on the cut side of the lawn. Cable guidance: Place the cable firmly off the lawn or on the already cur
side of the lawn when starting to mow.
Emptying of Grassbox (fig. B6)
The grassbox is full and should be emptied as soon as grass clippings remain uncollected on the ground behind your mower.
Note: Disconnect electricity by unplugging cable at the socket-before proceeding.
Cleaning (fig. W1)
Note: Disconnect electricity by unplugging cable at the socket before proceeding. Attention: Keep hands clear of moving blade.
Clean mower thoroughly after each mowing with cloth or brush. Do not spray with water. Keep mower in a dry room.
Change of cutter blade (fig. W2)
Note: always disconnect mains supply and wear protective gloves before undertaking any workat the cutter blades, cutter bar
and blade coupling. Change cutter blade using 10 mm spanner as illustraded. Torque wrench setting for screws 8-10 Nm. Take care
to carry out this work thoroughly. Use original spare parts only. Note: Sharpining of blades should be done by an approved service
centre as the correct balance of the blade after sharpening is very important and ought to be checked by an expert.
Winter Storage:
Clean mower thoroughly before storing away. Never spray mower with water and do not store it in a wet or humid place. Have
yourmower thoroughly checked once a yearby an approved Service Centre.
