Fixing of handle and adjustment of height (fig. M1/M2/M3/M4)
Fold upper handle section forward. Tighten hand wheels firmly M1/M2. Fold complete handle backwards, position at the correct
height and tightem firmly M3/M4.
Anti-kink protection(fig. M5)
IMPORTANT! The cable must always lie in the anti-kink protector.
Assembly of cable relief holder (fig. M6/M7)
Folding of handle frame (fig. M8)
ATTENTION! Take cara that the switch cable does not become caught and crushed when folding the handle frame.
Note! Unscrew the lower hand wheels (1) for about 2 cm/1“ either side, pull handle frame (2) either side, pull handle frame clear
of recesses until it can be folded forward easily.
Connecting to the mains (230 Volts, A.C., 50 Hz)
The mower operates from any normal household mains supply, provided with a 13 Amps. fuse.
Note: Use a residual current device (RCD) rated for a residual current not greater than 30 mA.
Attaching of grassbox (fig. B1)
Lift deflector lid, locate grassbox hook into opening of chassis (see arrow) and replace lid.
Use of heigth adjustment (fig. B2)
Only when mower is stationary and rotating blade has come to complete standstill.
Place hand into handle bar and depress button. Lift or lower chassis until it engages into required position (see indicator).
Selection of cutting height
If possible, mow when grass is dry in order to protect turf. Do not se cutting position too low when mowing very hight or wet grass.
We recommend an average cutting height of 4,5 cm.
Switch-on motor (fig. B3/B4)
Switch on motor with mower placed on level and firm ground, not in high grass - alternatively tilt slightly (fig. B3).
Depress button and hold B4 (1). Lift up bar B4 (2) and release button B4 (1). Switch-off motor: Release bar B4 (2).
Mowing (fig. B5)
Always let cable trail on the cut side of the lawn.
Cable guidance: Place the cable firmly off the lawn or on the already cur side of the lawn when starting to mow.
Turning (fig. B6)
The cable relief holder enables you to move the cable from one side of the handle frame to the other. Thus you ensure that the
cable always trails on the ride of the lawn already cut-and not in front of the machine.
Emptying of grassbox (fig. B7)
Only when mower is stionary and rotating blade has come to complete standstill.
Box filling indicator: The flap drops down when grassbox is full. To ensure properfunctioning of the indicator it is important that the
grilles below are kept clean using a hand brush.

Cleaning (fig. W1)
Note: Disconnect electricity by unplugging cable at the socket before proceeding. Attention: Keep hands clear of moving blade.
Clean mower thoroughly after each mowing with cloth or brush. Do not spray with water. Keep mower in a dry room.
Change of cutter blade (fig. W2)
Note: Always disconnect mains supply and wear protective gloves before undertaking any work at the cutter blades, cutter
bar and blade coupling.
• Change of blades only be carried out by an approved service station.
Gloves should be worn at all times when working on the blade. Remove ignition key and spark plug lead when working on the blade.
• Damaged blades should always be replaced in pairs to ensure even balance.
Information for Service Centre, blade retaining screw to be tightened to: A/F 13 mm = 22-26 Nm
Winter Storage:
Clean mower thoroughly before storing away.
Never spray mower with water and do not store it in a wet or humid place.
Have yourmower thoroughly checked once a yearby an approved Service Centre. We reserve the right to change any technial
specifications at our discretion.
