5.3.2 Padhouder
> Verwijder de koffiepads na gebruik uit de padhouder.
> Controleer geregeld of de middenopening van de padhouder vrij is. Ze kan bijv. ook door vezels van
schoonmaakdoeken verstopt raken.
> Reinig de padhouder in afwaswater met een fijne borstel of in de vaatwasser.
5.4 Ontkalking
Ontkalk uw koffiepadmachine geregeld om ervoor te zorgen dat ze probleemloos blijft werken.
5.4.1 Verkalkingsindicator
Het apparaat heeft een automatische verkalkingsherkenning. Wanneer u het apparaat moet ontkalkten,
knippert de x2-knop
D rood met langere tussenpozen. Afhankelijk van de koffieconsumptie en de
hardheid van het water wordt al na 4 tot 10 weken aangegeven dat u moet ontkalken.
U kunt nog steeds koffiezetten, maar u kunt beter niet te lang wachten met ontkalken, om
beschadigingen van het apparaat te voorkomen.
Ter bescherming tegen al te sterke verkalking is het apparaat standaard ingesteld voor zeer hard water.
> U kunt zo nodig informatie opvragen over de hardheid van uw leidingwater bij de watermaat-
schappij of bij de gemeente.
> Wanneer de hardheid van uw water lager is dan 21°dH moet u de instelling veranderen.
U wordt dan minder vaak gevraagd het apparaat te ontkalken.
