5.3.2 Padkassette
> Entfernen Sie Kaffeepads nach Gebrauch aus der Padkassette.
> Prüfen Sie regelmäßig, ob die Mittelöffnung der Padkassette frei ist. Sie könnte z. B. auch durch
Zellstofffasern von Küchentüchern verstopft werden.
> Reinigen Sie die Padkassette mit einer feinen Bürste im Spülwasser oder in der Spülmaschine.
5.4 Entkalkung
Entkalken Sie Ihre Kaffeepadmaschine regelmäßig, damit Sie einwandfrei funktioniert.
5.4.1 Verkalkungsanzeige
Ihr Gerät besitzt eine automatische Verkalkungserkennung. Wenn Sie die Maschine entkalken müssen,
blitzt die x2-Taste
D in längeren Abständen rot. Je nach Kaffeekonsum und Wasserhärte werden Sie
schon nach 4 bis 10 Wochen zum Entkalken aufgefordert.
Sie können dann weiterhin Kaffee zubereiten, sollten aber mit der fälligen Entkalkung nicht zu lange
warten, um Schäden am Gerät zu vermeiden.
Zum Schutz vor zu starker Verkalkung ist das Gerät auf sehr hartes Wasser voreingestellt.
> Erfragen Sie die Wasserhärte Ihres Leitungswassers gegebenenfalls beim zuständigen Wasserwerk
oder der kommunalen Verwaltung.
> Verändern Sie die Einstellung, wenn die Wasserhärte geringer als 21°dH ist.
Sie werden dann nicht mehr so häufig zum Entkalken aufgefordert.
