IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using this kettle, the following basic safety

precautions should be read carefully and always

befollowed:

• Please read all instructions carefully before using.

• Before connecting the kettle to the power supply,

check that the voltage indicated on the appliance

corresponds with the voltage at your home. If this

is not the case, contact your dealer and do not use

the kettle.

• The power plug should be inserted into grounded

socket, and ensure it’s well grounded.

• The kettle needs to be used with the attached

power base. The power base cannot be used for

other purposes.

• Do not let the power cord of an appliance hang

over the edge of a table or bench top or touch any

hot surface, to avoid damaging the power cord.

• This product cannot be placed on the heated

surface or near a hot gas stove or electric burner or

in a heated oven.

• Do not heat without water, which will destroy the

heating plate.

• Should you accidentally allow the kettle to operate

with too little water or without water, unplug the

kettle and allow it to cool down for 15 minutes

before reﬁlling.

• Ensure that the kettle is operated on a ﬁrm and ﬂat

surface where the children can’t reach.
