INSTALLATION - TECHNICAL INFORMATION FOR THE
INSTALLER
Before installing the cooktop, make sure that the local
distribution conditions (gas nature and pressure) and the
adjustment of this appliance are compatible. The appliance
adjustment values are indicated on the rating plate or label.
Gas supply
- The cooktop is set to work with the gas indicated on the rating
plate.
- The gas supply system must comply with local regulations.
- To connect the cooktop to the gas mains or cylinder, use a
fixed metal pipe or a flexible stainless steel hose in compliance
with local regulations.
The flexible metal tube must be no more than 2 m long.
Attention:
If a flexible stainless steel hose is used, it must be
installed in such a way that it cannot come into contact with a
mobile part of the unit, it is not obstructed and it can
be inspected along its whole length.
The cooktop connection is made using the following:
- 1 nut
(A)
- 1 gasket
(F)
- 1 conical union elbow
(C)
.
Important:
- Never force the turning of union (C) without first
slackening nut (A).
- The gasket (F) guarantees the seal of the gas connection.
Replace it when worn or damaged. The gasket must comply
with local standards.
- After the connection, check for leaks with a soapy
solution. Never use flames.
Replacing the gas burner injectors
To replace the injectors, please refer to the Injector Table, in
the separate Product Description Sheet.
Remove the grids and extract the burner bodies.
With a spanner, replace nozzles
(J)
with the nozzle suitable
to the gas to be used.
Adjusting the gas burner minimum
For taps with adjusting screw inside the shaft:
- with a screwdriver, max. diameter 3 mm, turn the screw inside
the tap shaft until adjustment is correct.
- perform the adjustment with the tap in the minimum position
(small flame ).
- For taps with adjusting screw on the body:
- with a screwdriver turn screw
(A)
until adjustment is correct.
- In models with ignition incorporated in the knob, access
screw
(A)
through a hole in the microswitch.
- Perform the adjustment with the tap in the minimum position
(small flame ).
For Gas G30/G31 tighten the adjusting screw completely.
Correct flame adjustment
Make sure that the appearance of the flame is stable and even. Also
make sure that when turning from the max opening position to the
min opening position, the flame does not go out.
Gas tap lubrication
If a gas tap is difficult to turn, disassemble and clean it
carefully with petrol and spread special high-temperature
resistant grease on it.
These operations must be performed by a qualified technician.

connection of the appliance and the observance of the
relative safety precautions.
The appliance must be connected to the mains, checking first
that the voltage corresponds to the value given on the rating
plate and that the section of the electrical wires can take the
load indicated on the rating plate.
The plug must be put into a socket connected to the earth
system in compliance with safety rules.
If the appliance is supplied without a plug fit a standard plug
which is suitable for the power absorbed by the appliance. Do
not use multiple plug adapters or extension cables.

When the appliance is installed, the switch or socket must
always be accessible.
The supply cable must not come in contact with hot parts and
must be positioned so that it does not exceed the
temperature of 75°C at any point.
After the appliance has been installed, the electrical
components must be inaccessible.
- No liability for damage or injury to persons or property will be
accepted from the non-observance of these requirements.
The appliance must be connected to the earth. The
manufacturer declines all responsibility for any problem
caused by failure to observe this rule.
Replacing the supply cable
Connect the new supply cable, of suitable size and section, to
the terminal board, following the diagrams below:
Use cables type H05V2V2-F resistant to a temperature of 90°C.
230 V~ 50/60 Hz 3 x 0,75 mm
