Roasting Chestnuts
1. Add the roasting grate (2) to the basic unit.
2. Pre-heat the appliance for 5 – 10 minutes on the hottest heating stage.
3. Cut the chestnuts on the round side with a sharp knife and roast for approxi-
mately 15 – 20 minutes with the lid (1) closed. Do not use any fat.
4. Stir frequently with the spoon until all chestnuts split open.
Baked Potatoes
1. Add the roasting grate (2) to the basic unit.
2. Pre-heat the appliance for 5 – 10 minutes on the hottest heating stage.
3. Wrap the cleaned and dry potatoes in aluminium foil and bake for approxi-
mately 20 – 30 minutes with the lid (1) closed. Do not use any fat. It is recom-
mended to use potatoes of the same size to get an even baking result.
Try baking potato wedges in the same manner.
Grilling Meat, Sausages, Chicken-wings, Chops, Fish
1. Add the 2-sided grilling plate (4) with the ribbed side facing up to the basic
unit.
2. Pre-heat the appliance for 5 – 10 minutes on the hottest heating stage.
3. Add meat, chops etc. and grill for approximately 15 – 25 minutes. Use fat
sparingly.
4. Turn food as desired.
Frying of Pancakes, Omelettes
1. Add the 2-sided grilling plate (4) with the flat side facing up to the basic unit.
2. Pre-heat the appliance for 5 – 10 minutes on the hottest heating stage.
3. Add the pancake mix, eggs, etc. Use the enclosed wooden spreader for
spreading the pancakes and crepes in a thin layer. Use fat sparingly.
4. Turn the pancakes/omelettes as needed.
Also try baking crêpes, tortillas, etc. in the same manner.
