9. Maak het sondekapje los door stevig op de uitwerpknop bovenop de sonde te
drukken.
10. Plaats de sonde terug in de sondebasis om het scherm te wissen en de thermometer
terug te schakelen naar normale modus. De thermometer geeft geen piepjes om het
einde van de meting aan te geven.
INSTRUMENTBEVEILIGING
De SureTemp thermometer model 692 is uitgerust met elektronische beveiligingsopties
om diefstal tegen te gaan. Deze opties omvatten een Temperatuurteller en een Direct
Aan-functie.
TEMPERATUURTELLER
Met de beveiligingsfunctie Temperatuurteller kunt u een aantal temperatuurmetingen
instellen voordat het instrument overschakelt naar de beveiligingsalarmstaat. De te kiezen
tellers zijn 25, 50, 100 en 200. Als het instrument de laatste meting nadert, wordt in het
scherm SECURITY COUNT als waarschuwing weergegeven, samen met een cijfer dat de
laatste metingen aangeeft (bv, 5,4,3,2,1) die nog op de beveiligingsteller over zijn.
Als het instrument overschakelt naar alarmstaat, piept het gedurende ongeveer 10
seconden. Op dat moment wordt SEC in het LCD-scherm weergegeven, samen met
SECURITY COUNT in het ID-veld in de linker bovenhoek van het scherm. Het instrument
wordt vervolgens geblokkeerd. Bij het terugplaatsen van het instrument in de
wandhouder wordt de beveiligingsteller teruggezet. Als de teller op “0” is ingesteld, is de
temperatuurtellerfunctie uitgeschakeld en wordt er geen alarm gegeven.

DIRECT AAN
Als de Direct Aan-functie geactiveerd is, schakelt het instrument over naar de
beveiligingsstaat binnen vijf seconden nadat het uit de wandhouder is genomen. Als het
instrument overschakelt naar de alarmstatus, klinkt er een continue piep en wordt SEC in
het LCD-scherm weergegeven. Druk binnen 30 seconden nadat u het instrument uit de
wandhouder heeft genomen op de knop Modusselectie terwijl u de sonde uit de
sondebasis neemt om het alarm uit te schakelen en het instrument te kunnen gebruiken.
Bij het terugplaatsen van het instrument in de wandhouder wordt het alarmsignaal
uitgeschakeld.
De opties voor de Direct Aan-functie zijn aan (ON) of uit (OFF). In de stand OFF wordt er
geen alarmsignaal gegeven.

functie.
Het apparaat schakelt automatisch over naar monitormodus als de sonde
uit de sondebasis wordt genomen en niet wordt teruggeplaatst binnen 60
seconden zonder activiteit.
