4.12 AC-filter toepassen
ECG-curven kunnen ruis bevatten als gevolg van lichtnetinterferentie. Dit maakt de curven
moeilijker te lezen. U kunt deze storing wegfilteren door een AC-filter toe te passen. Als u een
filter toepast, wordt het oorspronkelijke ECG-signaal niet permanent veranderd. U verandert
alleen de manier waarop het op de monitor wordt weergegeven. Het ECG-signaal behoudt
altijd zijn oorspronkelijke vorm.
Om een AC-filter toe te passen terwijl u een ECG weergeeft:
Klik in het Actie-menu op AC-filter.
4.13 Basislijnfilter toepassen
ECG-traces kunnen ten gevolge van beweging enige basislijnafwijking vertonen. U kunt deze
afwijking van de basislijn terugdringen door toepassing van een basislijnfilter. Wanneer u de
basislijnfilter toepast, verandert u alleen de weergave van de traces. Het feitelijke signaal blijft
ongewijzigd.
Om een basislijnfilter toe te passen terwijl u een ECG weergeeft:
Klik in het Actie-menu op baseline filter.
Als er nauwkeurige ST-segmentcontouren voor ECG's nodig zijn, gebruik dan niet de
basislijnfilter van 0,5 Hz. Deze filter onderdrukt de basislijnafwijking in zodanige mate dat het
ST-segment hierdoor zou kunnen veranderen. In plaats daarvan stelt u de cardiograaf in op
gebruik zonder de basislijnfilter. De ritmekenmerken van de ECG worden ongeacht de
gebruikte filter nauwkeurig geregistreerd en de filterinstellingen hebben geen invloed op het
interpretatiealgoritme.
4.14 Anti-aliasing toepassen
Als u een ECG bekijkt op een monitor, kan het signaal er rafelig uitzien, vooral als u een
complex vergroot. U kunt anti-aliasing gebruiken om het signaal er gladder te laten uitzien.
Anti-aliasing verandert het signaal zelf niet, het heeft alleen invloed op de weergave van het
signaal op de monitor.
