6. The cuff will be initially inflated to a pressure of 190mmHg.
You will feel it tightening. If your systolic blood pressure
is over 190mmHg, the blood pressure monitor will
automatically re-inflate the cuff to measure the blood
pressure.
7. As soon as the pulse rate is detected, the pulse rate
indicator 17 will start to flash. Keep relaxed during this
time, avoid speaking and moving any body parts.
8. Once the measurement is complete, the air will be released
from the cuff.
The indicator for systolic pressure 15 , diastolic pressure 16
and the pulse rate 18 will be shown on the display.
The measurements will be read out.
The corresponding indicator for measurement
classification according to the WHO 25 will also be shown
(see chapter “WHO classification”).
Deleting or storing measurement results
− If due to unfavorable measurement conditions or for any
other reasons you think the current measurement results
are inaccurate, push the SET button 4 to delete them.
− If the results are not deleted, they will be automatically
stored into the memory slots of the selected user
(see steps 1–3 in the chapter “Starting a blood pressure
measurement”).
Deactivation
− Push the START/STOP button 3 to switch the blood
pressure monitor off.
− The blood pressure monitor automatically switches off
after 3 minutes.
