Het jaar van de eerste ingebruikneming moet op het type-etiket van het

verwarmingssysteem duurzaam aangeduid worden door de jaartallen die niet

van toepassing zijn te doorhalen.

Waarborgen dat voor de ingebruikneming de beschikbare afsluiters in de

terugloop van de brandstofleiding geopend zijn.

Bij de vernieuwing van het koelmiddel voor de voertuigmotor moet op een

zorgvuldige ontluchting van het verwarmingssysteem gelet worden na het

ontluchten van het koelsysteem van het voertuig. Vul het koelmiddel bij als het

niveau te laag is volgens de instructies van de voertuigfabrikant.

De openingen van de verbrandingsluchtinlaatleidingen en de

uitlaatgasopening moeten gecontroleerd worden, en wanneer ze vuil zijn,

moeten ze gereinigd worden.

De verwarmer moet voor het tanken uitgeschakeld zijn.
