Lighting the stove
The stove will become very hot when you light it and will need at least two hours to cool o. Do not
touch the stove without protection during ring and for two hours after. Handle the stove always with
a glove to avoid getting serious burns.
Before lighting the stove, wipe o any deposit on the glass with a tissue
or soft paper; you can use this paper for lighting the re.
Slide the valve in the ue gas pipe open. Slide the air slide valve to the
maximum position before lighting the re. Shove the ‘ECO’ slide all to the
left. Open the door, put some balls of paper or some relighters inside
the stove, and place some wood kindling on top. Light the kindling
and leave the door ajar (3-5 minutes) to let in extra air and to boost the
draught in the chimney. You may add extra wood when the kindling
is burning. (Try putting the wood loosely in the re to encourage the
ames to go around the logs.
Once the stove is burning, you can close the non-return valve by sliding
it to the right in the eco position. The ue gases are now led via the
ue gas tubes.
Operation of the air supply
The air inlet valve has 3 positions:
• pulled out completely: primary and secondary air inlet are open.
• pressed until the rst click: only the secondary air inlet is open.
The stove has now the highest output and gives you the best pos-
sible air-wash function.
• pressed until the second click: everything is closed, and the stove
will go out slowly.
It is prohibited to light the stove with liquids like petrol or spirits.
Do not have the cooker hood on in the room where you operate your stove.
Never touch the varnished parts when you heat your stove.
Avoid nger marks
Do not touch the glass of the stove with your ngers. Finger marks will burn into the glass and
cannot be removed later.
