Before installing your stove you must check if there is any visible damage to the unit. If there is, do not accept the
unit and contact your supplier.
The guarantee does not include: the glass, failure due to improper use; non-compliance with the national
regulations and enclosed installation and operating instructions; installation by an installer of dealer who is not
acknowledged by WANDERS, negligence of the unit and change of owner. The guarantee is also disclaimed when
a wrong fuel is used.
There is a one-year guarantee period for the following parts: all cast-iron and vermiculite parts, the control parts of
the convection system and the lacquer.
WANDERS disclaims responsibility for any cracks in stuccoed walls or discolouration of walls, ceilings and/or grates
after burning the replace. Discolouration can be caused when dust particles burn in the convection cover. To
minimize the chance of cracks in stucco and discolouration we refer to the advice given for decorative hearths.
Your installer can give you more information.
Any complaints will be dealt with after the sales rm, the installer has led a complaint and sent a copy of the
purchase receipt with purchase date. Any repairs do not entitle you to extend the guarantee term. All consequential
damages or loss are excluded.
General instructions
The S60/S75 is approved in accordance with the international standard EN 13229 and has an extra supplementary
standard for optimal environmentally friendly combustion in relation to ue gases (art. 15a B-Vg. Des BmfWA). The
stove can be connected to a ue to which several other stoves are connected. The pipe for ue gas extraction has
a diameter of 150 millimetres (connection 146 mm external).
The S60/S75 must be placed by an acknowledged installer and according to the installation instructions given
below. The national and local rules and regulations for placing and using wood-burning stoves are equally
applicable. WANDERS does not give any guarantee if the S60/S75 is connected or installed incompletely or
incorrectly.
It is not allowed to place the stove in:
• Arcades and corridors accessible to the public.
• Stairwells, except in buildings with no more than 2 dwellings.
• Spaces where highly ammable or explosive materials are used.
• Spaces where an exhaust system is used or where a mechanical exhaust system is placed, except when the air
supply is taken directly from outside to assure a hazardless combustion.
Preparation
Installation recess
The S60/S75 requires a recess of the following dimensions for tting it safely and without any problems.
S 60 front: 497 x 614 x 360 mm (h x w x d)
S 60 corner L/R: 495 x 605 x 356 mm
S 75 front: 547 x 764 x 397 mm
S 75 corner L/R: 543 x 755 x 397 mm
Note that a gap of at least 5 mm must be kept free around the stove to allow for expansion. These dimensions have
been factored into the sizes given above.
The base of the recess must be at and strong enough to bear the weight of the stove. If this is not the case, the
necessary measures must be taken to ensure this.
