Voorbereiden van het coatingmateriaal

Om met het spuitpistool te kunnen worden verwerkt, moet de verf meestal worden ver-

dund. Aanwijzingen voor verdunning om te kunnen spuiten vindt u meestal niet op het

verfblik. Richt u daarom naar de viscositeittabel op de volgende bladzijde (viscositeit =

dikvloeibaarheid van het coatingmateriaal)

Meten van de viscositeit

1. Coatingmateriaal voor de meting grondig doormengen.

2. Viscositeitmeetbeker (afb. 2.) tot boven de rand in het coatingmateriaal

onderdompelen.

3. De meetbeker eruit nemen en de tijd in seconden meten, totdat de vloeistof bij het

uitlopen onderbroken wordt.

Deze tijd wordt "uitlooptijd in seconden" genoemd.
