6 Technische Beschreibung
Die Kamera CAM29 kann sehr vielseitig eingesetzt werden, z. B.:
als Rückfahrvideokamera für Fahrzeuge zum Einbau in den Stoßfänger,
als Seitenkamera in einem LKW,
als Einstiegsüberwachung in Bussen,
als versteckte Innenraumüberwachung.
Die Rückfahrvideokamera CAM29 besteht aus der Kamera und dem optional einsetz-
baren Montagegehäuse.
Die Kamera kann direkt, z. B. in einen Stoßfänger, eingebaut werden.
Der elektrische Anschluss erfolgt über ein steckfertig vorbereitetes Kabel an den Monitor.
7 Rückfahrvideokamera montieren

7.1 Kamera montieren
Berücksichtigen Sie folgende Hinweise bei der Auswahl des Montageortes für die
Kamera:
Beachten Sie die Länge des Kamerakabels.
Wenn Sie die Kamera als Rückfahrvideokamera einsetzen wollen, empfiehlt sich ein
Einbau in der Mitte des Stoßfängers (Abb. 4, Seite 4).
Der Montageort am Stoßfänger sollte senkrecht zur Straßenoberfläche sein, damit die
Kamera waagerecht ausgerichtet ist.
Die Kamera hat einen Bildwinkel von 90° horizontal. Aufgrund des Bildwinkels erfasst sie
als Rückfahrvideokamera Gegenstände an den Fahrzeugecken nur eingeschränkt.
Im Folgenden ist der Einbau als Rückfahrvideokamera in den Stoßfänger beschrieben.
Sie können je nach Einsatzzweck die Kamera auch an anderen Stellen einbauen.

➤ Wählen Sie einen geeigneten Montageort.
HINWEIS
Wenn Sie nicht über ausreichende technische Kenntnisse für das Einbauen
und Anschließen von Komponenten in Fahrzeugen verfügen, sollten Sie sich
die Rückfahrvideokamera von einem Fachmann ins Fahrzeug einbauen las-
sen.
HINWEIS
Die mitgelieferte Einbauhülse (Abb. 3 ,2, Seite 4) wird für die hier beschrie-
bene Montage nicht benötigt.
