5: U-fas (float)

Efter U0-fasen kopplas batteriladdaren om till underhållsladdning (U-fas).

Om DC-apparater ansluts får de sin ström från denna apparat. Om den effekt

som krävs överstiger apparatens kapacitet, tas ytterligare effekt från batte-

riet. Samtidigt laddas batteriet ur tills I-fasen inträffar och batteriet laddas upp

på nytt.

6: 12-dagars konditionering

Var 12 dag kopplas batteriladdaren tillbaka till fas 1 i 85 minuter, för att akti-

vera batteriet. På så sätt undviks tröghetsfenomen, som t.ex. sulfatering.

7 Montera apparaten

Beakta följande anvisningar vid monteringen:

 Apparaten kan monteras horisontalt eller vertikalt.

 Montera inte apparaten

– i fuktiga/blöta omgivningar

– i dammiga omgivningar

– i närheten av brännbara material

– i explosionsfarliga omgivningar

 Monteringsstället måste ha god ventilation. Vid installation i slutna utrym-

men måste man se till att det finns god ventilation (till- och frånluft). Runt

omkring apparaten måste det finnas minst 25 cm fritt utrymme.

 Luftöppningarna på apparatens undersida (tilluft) och baksida (frånluft)

får inte täckas över.

 Om omgivningstemperaturen är högre än 40 °C (t.ex. i motor-/maskinrum

eller pannrum, direkt solljus) kan effekten reduceras p.g.a. självuppvärm-

ning under belastning.

 Montera apparaten på en jämn och stabil yta.

 Montera inte apparaten i samma område som batterierna.

 Montera inte apparaten ovanför batterierna, eftersom korrosiv sva-

velånga kan stiga upp från batterierna och skada apparaten.

OBSERVERA!

Innan borrningar görs: kontrollera att inga elkablar eller andra

delar kan skadas genom borrning, sågning eller filning.
