6.3 Función de carga de batería
La característica de carga se denomina curva característica IU0U modifi-
cada.
1 Fase I (Bulk)
Al comenzar la carga, la batería descargada se carga con corriente cons-
tante (100% corriente de carga) hasta que la tensión de la batería alcance la
tensión de carga. Cuando la batería llega a este nivel de tensión, la corriente
de carga disminuye.
2, 3, 4: Fase U0 (Absorption)
Aquí comienza la fase de carga de absorción de 3 niveles (fase U0), cuya
duración depende de la batería. Por ello permanecerá la tensión constante
(U0). En los primeros 2 minutos se determina la carga de la batería. A con-
tinuación comienza la fase de carga principal mientras que la batería se
carga por completo.
Si la batería está completamente cargada o la corriente de carga queda por
debajo del 6 % de la corriente de carga nominal durante 15 minutos, habrá
finalizado la fase U0.
