6 Instalar el indicador de batería
Al elegir el lugar de montaje del indicador de batería, tenga en cuenta las
siguientes indicaciones:
El aparato se debe montar en un lugar protegido contra la humedad.
El aparato no se puede montar en un entorno con materiales inflamables.
El aparato no se puede montar en un entorno con mucho polvo.
El lugar de montaje tiene que estar bien ventilado. En caso de instalación
en recintos cerrados pequeños, debe haber ventilación suficiente.
La superficie de montaje tiene que ser plana y tener una resistencia sufi-
ciente.
Fije el indicador de batería como se indica a continuación (fig. 3, página 4):
➤ Fije el adaptador (1):
–a la pared
– a un lugar apropiado en el vehículo (p. ej. en el salpicadero o en la
cabina del conductor)
– o al soporte de pared de un cargador de batería PerfectCharge
➤ Introduzca el indicador de batería (2) en el adaptador (1).
Conecte el indicador de batería como se indica a continuación (fig. 4,
página 4):

➤ Inserte la clavija del cable de conexión que desee en la clavija (1) del
indicador de batería:
– Cable de conexión con los terminales de cable (2) (incluido en el
volumen de entrega)
– Cable de conexión con la clavija de 12 V (3) (incluido en el volumen
de entrega del cargador de batería)
– Cable de conexión con los bornes de la batería (4) (incluido en el
volumen de entrega del cargador de batería)
¡AVISO!
Asegúrese de no invertir la polaridad:
Borne positivo de la batería: borne rojo
Borne negativo de la batería: borne negro
Una polaridad incorrecta puede dañar el indicador de batería.
