6 Batterieindikator installieren
Beachten Sie bei der Wahl des Montageortes des Batterieindikators
folgende Hinweise:
Das Gerät muss an einer vor Feuchtigkeit geschützten Stelle montiert
werden.
Das Gerät darf nicht in Umgebungen mit entflammbaren Materialien
montiert werden.
Das Gerät darf nicht in staubigen Umgebungen montiert werden.
Der Einbauort muss gut belüftet sein. Bei Installationen in geschlossenen
kleinen Räumen sollte eine Be- und Entlüftung vorhanden sein.
Die Montagefläche muss eben sein und eine ausreichende Festigkeit auf-
weisen.
Befestigen Sie den Batterieindikator wie folgt (Abb. 3, Seite 4):
➤ Befestigen Sie den Adapter (1):
– an einer Wand
– an einer geeigneten Stelle im Fahrzeug (z. B. im Cockpit oder in der
Fahrerkabine)
– oder an der Wandhalterung eines PerfectCharge-Batterieladers
➤ Schieben Sie den Batterieindikator (2) in den Adapter (1).
Schließen Sie den Batterieindikator wie folgt an (Abb. 4, Seite 4):

➤ Stecken Sie den Stecker des gewünschten Anschlusskabels in die
Buchse (1) des Batterieindikators:
– Anschlusskabel mit den Kabelschuhen (2) (im Lieferumfang
enthalten)
– Anschlusskabel mit dem 12-V-Stecker (3) (im Lieferumfang des
Batterieladers enthalten)
– Anschlusskabel mit den Batterieklemmen (4) (im Lieferumfang des
Batterieladers enthalten)
ACHTUNG!
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Polarität nicht vertauscht wird:
Plusklemme der Batterie: rote Klemme
Minusklemme der Batterie: schwarze Klemme
Falsche Polarität kann den Batterieindikator beschädigen.
