7 Descrição técnica
Os conversores podem ser utilizados em todos os lugares onde esteja dis-
ponível
uma ligação 12-Vg (MSI912, MSI1312, MSI1812, MSI1812T)
uma ligação 24-Vg (MSI912, MSI1324, MSI1824, MSI1812T)
Graças ao reduzido peso e à estrutura compacta, o aparelho pode ser facil-
mente instalado em autocaravanas, veículos comerciais ou embarcações a
motor e vela.
A tensão de saída corresponde à tensão obtida nas tomadas elétricas de
casa (tensão sinusoidal pura, THD < 3%).
Respeite os valores para a potência de saída contínua e para a potencia de
saída máxima indicados no capítulo “Dados técnicos” na página 296. Apare-
lhos com um consumo de potência maior não devem ser ligados.

O conversor está equipado com diferentes mecanismos de proteção:
Proteção contra sobretensão: o conversor desliga-se quando o valor
de tensão excede o valor de desativação. Quando a tensão baixa para o
valor de reinício, o conversor volta a ligar-se.
Proteção contra subtensão: o conversor desliga-se quando o valor de
tensão desce abaixo do valor de desativação. Quando a tensão sobe
para o valor de reinício, o conversor volta a ligar-se.
Proteção contra sobreaquecimento: o conversor desliga-se quando a
temperatura dentro do aparelho ou a temperatura do dissipador de calor
excede o valor de desativação. Quando a tensão sobe para o valor de rei-
nício, o conversor volta a ligar-se.
Protecção de sobrecarga: o LED no conversor indica um falha de fun-
cionamento (luz contínua vermelha) sempre que a carga elétrica for de-
masiado grande ou ocorrer um curto-circuito. Após ter disparado devido
a uma corrente elétrica excessiva, o fusível do aparelho tem de ser rear-
mado manualmente.
OBSERVAÇÃO
Ao conetar aparelhos com acionamento elétrico (p.ex. berbe-
quim, frigorífico, etc.), preste atenção que os mesmos necessi-
tam de uma potência de arranque mais elevada do que a indicada
na chapa de características.
