El inversor está equipado con distintos mecanismos de protección:
Protección contra la sobretensión: el inversor se desconecta cuando
el valor de tensión asciende por encima del valor de conexión. Cuando la
tensión desciende al valor de reinicio, se vuelve a conectar.
Protección contra la subtensión: el inversor se desconecta cuando el
valor de tensión desciende por debajo del valor de conexión. Cuando la
tensión asciende al valor de reinicio, se vuelve a conectar.
Protección contra el sobrecalentamiento: el inversor se desconecta
cuando la temperatura dentro del aparato o la temperatura del dispositivo
de enfriamiento sobrepasan un valor de conexión. Cuando la tensión as-
ciende al valor de reinicio, se vuelve a conectar.
Protección contra sobrecarga y protección contra cortocircuitos: El
LED en el inversor avisa de una a vería (luz fija roja) cuando se ha conec-
tado una carga demasiado grande o se ha producido un cortocircuito. El
fusible del aparato debe volverse a conectar una vez que haya saltado
por sobrecorriente.
Protección contra inversión de polaridad: La protección contra inversión
de polaridad evita una polaridad incorrecta al conectar el inversor.

Los inversores tienen un enchufe de 230 Vw y una regleta de bornes de co-
nexión para conexiones fijas.
Mediante la sincronización de tensión con la tensión de entrada CA, el inver-
sor sirve para el funcionamiento de aparatos consumidores sensibles que
reaccionan a irregularidades de la tensión de alimentación.
Además se puede configurar mediante un ordenador a través de un puerto
RS-232 y de los interruptores DIP situados en el aparato.
El inversor puede ponerse en modo de ahorro de energía para que la batería
conectada no se descargue demasiado rápido.
El funcionamiento en paralelo permite operar dos o hasta tres inversores (del
mismo modelo) a la vez.
Con un control remoto (accesorio) se puede operar de forma cómoda el in-
versor.
