5 Descripción técnica
Gracias a su reducido peso y a su estructura compacta, los transformadores
se puede instalar fácilmente en caravanas, vehículos industriales o yates a
motor o vela.
Los transformadores sirven para transformar una tensión de 12 V
CC
o de
24 V
CC
de una batería del vehículo o embarcación en una tensión continua
estable de 12 V
CC
o de 24 V
CC
para conectar aparatos.
Debido a la separación galvánica de la tensión de entrada y de salida, la
tensión de salida se puede mantener estable independientemente de
averías en el circuito de entrada.
Como la corriente máxima de salida está regulada electrónicamente, los
transformadores de carga pueden servir también como cargadores para
baterías que se utilicen a bordo de vehículos o embarcaciones para producir
corriente.
Los aparatos están equipados con una protección contra cortocircuito y
contra sobrecarga. Cuando se dispara la función de protección, el aparato
se apaga y se vuelve a encender cuando la conexión es correcta.

LED “Power On”: hay tensión en los bornes de
salida del transformador. El transformador está listo
para el funcionamiento.

LED “Battery Low”: a la batería de entrada no le
queda carga suficiente.

LED “Overload”:
z Si se ha conectado un consumidor, el
transformador está cortocircuitado o
sobrecargado.
z Si se ha conectado como cargador, el
transformador se encuentra en la fase de carga
con corriente plena.
