Um dispositivo eletrónico de proteção contra a inversão de polaridade prote-
ge o aparelho de refrigeração de inversões de polaridade em caso de ligação
a bateria e curto-circuito. Para proteção da bateria,o aparelho de refrigera-
ção desliga-se automaticamente em caso de insuficiência de tensão (ver a
tabela seguinte).
Ligar a uma rede de 230 V

➤ Para o funcionamento do aparelho de refrigeração com rede de 230 V,
utilize o comutador WAECO CoolPower EPS100W ou MPS35.

NOTA!
Desligue o aparelho e outros consumidores da bateria antes de
carregar a bateria com um carregador rápido.
As sobretensões podem danificar o sistema eletrónico dos apa-
relhos.

PERIGO!
Nunca manipule as fichas e os interruptores quando tiver as
mãos molhadas ou quando tiver os pés em pavimento molha-
do.
Se estiver a utilizar o aparelho de refrigeração a bordo de um
barco com ligação a terra a uma rede de 230 V, deverá sem-
pre instalar um interruptor de segurança entre a rede de 230
V e o aparelho de refrigeração.
Solicite o parecer de um técnico.
OBSERVAÇÃO
Por motivos de higiene, antes de colocar o novo aparelho de re-
frigeração em funcionamento, deve limpar o seu interior e exterior
com um pano húmido (ver também “Limpeza e manutenção” na
página 103).
