INTRODUCTION
Introducing Boost the Brachiosaurus. With a few simple steps,
Boost can switch into a truck and back again! Press Boost’s action
button to move his head back and forth. By interacting with Boost,
your child can learn fun dinosaur facts as they play!

One parent’s guide
WARNING:
All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks,
removable tags, cable ties and packaging screws are not part of this
toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.
NOTE:
Please keep this parent’s guide as it contains important information.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
For your child’s safety, only use Boost the Brachiosaurus on
hard, flat surfaces. Do not put Boost in either conguration on
your clothing, body or hair.
Unlock the packaging locks:
Rotate the packaging locks 90 degrees
anticlockwise.
Pull out the packaging locks.

GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the dino is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the panel.
3. Use a screwdriver to open the cover.
4. Install 2 new AA size (LR6/AM-3) batteries following
the diagram inside the battery box. (The use of new,
alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum
performance).
5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to
secure.
Note: If there is no response when Boost is
switched ON, please install brand new
batteries and try switching Boost ON again.
BATTERY NOTICE
Use new alkaline batteries or fully charged NI-MH (Nickel Metal-
hydride) rechargeable batteries for best performance.
Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as
recommended.
Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-
zinc) or rechargeable, or new and used batteries.
Do not use damaged batteries.
Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
• Donotdisposeofbatteriesinre.
Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if
removable).
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision.

Disposal of batteries and product
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and
batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicates they
must not be disposed of in domestic waste as they contain
substances that can be damaging to the environment and
human health.
The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked,
indicatethatthebatterycontainsmorethanthespecied
value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out in
Battery Directive (2006/66/EC).
The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the
market after 13th August, 2005.

or batteries responsibly.

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. ON/OFF/VOLUME SWITCH
Slide the ON/OFF/VOLUME SWITCH
to the LOW VOLUME or the HIGH
VOLUME position to turn the dino ON.
To turn the dino OFF, slide the switch to
the OFF position.
2. TALK BUTTON
Press the TALK BUTTON to hear fun
phrases and cool dino facts!

3. SOUND EFFECTS BUTTON
Press the SOUND EFFECTS BUTTON
to hear cool dino and truck sound effects!
4. ACTION BUTTON
Press the ACTION BUTTON to move
Boost’s head back and forth when in
dino mode!
5. LCD SCREEN
The LCD SCREEN will display
animated dino eyes and driver.
6. TRAILER
Connect the TRAILER to the back of
Boost in either dino or vehicle mode.
Open up the back of the TRAILER to
load and store other SWITCH & GO
DINOS® (sold separately).
7. AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF
To preserve battery life, Boost the Brachiosaurus will shut
off automatically after several minutes without input. Boost
can be turned on again by pressing any button.
Note: If Boost repeatedly shuts off, or has abnormal
responses when switched on, please install brand new
batteries and try switching Boost on again.

ACTIVITIES
1. Dino Mode
In dino mode, pressing the TALK BUTTON will play fun phrases and
cool dino facts. Switching Boost and moving him around will trigger
lively dino sound effects.
2. Vehicle Mode
In vehicle mode, Boost will say fun and encouraging driver phrases
when the TALK BUTTON is pressed. Switching Boost and moving
him around will trigger lively truck sound effects.
HOW TO SWITCH BOOST FROM DINO
TO VEHICLE
1. Press Boost’s head
down into his body.
2. Fold the left and right hind
legs of Boost up to the
sides of his head.

3. Fold the left and right
front legs of Boost back
into a horizontal position.
4. Fold down the blue
section of Boost’s tail,
then push the red section
of the tail inwards to
complete the cab.
5.Asshownintheabovegure,connectthetrailerto
the rear of the cab to complete the switch from dino
mode to vehicle mode.
Note:
To switch Boost back into a dino, follow the above steps
in reverse order.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the dino clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the dino out of direct sunlight and away from any direct
heat source.
3. Remove the batteries when the dino will not be in use for an
extended period of time.
4. Do not drop the dino on hard surfaces and do not expose the dino
to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions,
please follow these steps:
1. Please turn the dino OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the dino stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the dino ON. The dino should now be ready to play with
again.
5. If the dino still does not work, install a brand new set of batteries.
