To keep this product working well and looking good, follow these guidelines:

• DO NOT immerse the parent unit and the bab y unit in water and do not clean under running water .

• Make sure the parent unit and the bab y unit are dry before you connect them to the mains again.
When you are not going to use the video monitor for some time, store the parent unit, the baby unit
and the adaptors in a cool, dry place.

Can I turn the parent

Y es, press | L CD ON/OFF on the par ent unit to turn off the screen. The par ent
unit display will also dim automatically after being inactive for some time. In both
instances, you will still be able to hear all sounds from the baby unit.

Why is the bab y
unit not responding
normally?
T ry the follo wing (in the order listed) f or a common cur e:
1. Disconnect the power to the bab y unit.
2. W ait a few minutes befor e connecting power back t o the baby unit.
3. Reboot the paren t unit.
Why is my screen in
black and white?
The baby unit has a light sensor tha t measures ambient light. When the
ambient light is dim, such as during night time or in a dark room, the baby unit
activat es its infrared LEDs, and displa ys the camer a images in black and white
night vision.
Why does my baby unit
show offline? Why is the
connection lost e very
now and then?
The baby unit may hav e lost connection to the Wi-Fi rout er. Check y our
network and r outer se ttings.

The parent unit speaker volume may be too lo w. Pr ess on the par ent unit

1. Place the wall mount bracke t on a
wall and then use a pencil to mark
two holes in parallel. R emov e the
wall mount br acket and drill two
holes in the wall (5.5 mm drill bit).
Notes
• Check for rec eption strength and
camera angle of the baby unit bef ore
drilling the holes.
• The types of screws and wall plugs y ou
need depend on the composition of
the wall. Y ou may need to pur chase
the screws and wall plugs separat ely t o
mount your baby unit.

to step 3.

object other than a stud, insert
the w all plugs into the holes.

in the middle hole first, so that the wall mount

5. Y ou can maximise your baby unit viewing angles by tilting the wall moun t brack et.
Hold the bab y unit , and then r otate the knob in an anticlockwise direction. This will loosen the joint o f the wall mount bracke t.
Tilt your baby unit up or down t o adjust to y our pr eferr ed angle. Then, r ota te the knob in a clockwise dir ection to tigh ten the
joint and secur e the angle.

and then slide it f orward un til it locks into plac e.

T est the sound level and position the b ab y monitor
If y ou plan to install your baby unit in a designa ted
location, and use your home Wi-Fi ne twork to
connect y our video monitor , you need to test
which of y our selected monit oring areas within the
house have good Wi-Fi signal str ength. After y ou
have po wered on your par ent unit, you can use
your parent unit’s Wi-Fi signal strength indicat or
to assist in checking. Onc e y ou have iden tified the
suitable location, you can install y our bab y unit .
Adjust the distance between your baby unit and
the Wi-Fi r outer if needed.
• Depending on surroundings and obstructing fact ors,
such as the effect distance and internal walls hav e on
signal strength, you ma y experienc e reduced Wi-Fi
signal. T o improv e the Wi-Fi signal strength, adjust the
distance or direction of y our par ent unit. Check with
your parent unit again.
