To keep this product working well and looking good, follow these guidelines:
• Avoid placing it near heating appliances and devices that generate electrical noise (for example,
motors or fluorescent lamps).
• DO NOT expose it to direct sunlight or moisture.
• Avoid dropping the product or treating it roughly.
• Clean with a soft damp cloth.
• DO NOT immerse the parent unit and the bab y unit in water and do not clean them under running
w at e r.
• DO NOT use cleaning spray or liquid cleaners.
• Make sure the parent unit and the bab y unit are dry before you connect them to the mains again.
When you are not going to use the video monitor for some time, store the parent unit, the baby unit
and the adaptors in a cool, dry place.

1. Place the wall mount bracke t on a
wall and then use a pencil to mark
two holes in parallel. R emov e the
wall mount br acke t and drill two
holes in the wall (5.5 mm drill bit).
Notes
• Check for rec eption str ength and
camera angle of the baby unit before
drilling the holes.
• The types of screws and wall plugs you
need depend on the composition of
the wall. Y ou may need to purchase
the screws and wall plugs separa tely to
mount your baby units.
2. If you drill the holes into a stud, go
to step 3.
• If you drill the holes into an
object other than a stud, insert
the w all plugs into the holes.
T ap gently on the ends with a
hammer un til the wall plugs ar e
flush with the wall.
3. Align the wall mount br acke t and scr ews with
the holes in the wall as shown. Tighten the screw
in the middle hole first, so that the w all mount
bracke t position is fix ed. Y ou can tighten the
other screw in the top hole.
3. Insert the scr ews into the holes and
tighten the scr ews until only 6.5 mm of
the screws ar e e xposed.
4. Place the bab y unit on the w all
mount br acket , and then slide it
forwar d until it locks into place. Align
the holes on the wall mount br acke t
with the scr ews on the wall, and slide
the w all mount br acket down until it
locks into place.
5. Y ou can maximise y our bab y unit’s viewing angles b y tilting the wall moun t brack et.
Hold the bab y unit, and then r ot ate the knob in an an ticlockwise direction. This will loosen the joint o f the w all mount br acket .
Tilt your baby unit up or down to adjust t o your pr eferr ed angle. Then, ro tate the knob in a clockwise direction to tigh ten the
joint and secur e the angle.

4. Place the bab y unit on the w all mount brack et ,
and then slide it f orwar d until it locks int o place.

Connect your HD video monitor with home Wi-Fi netw ork
• Y ou must connect your video monitor t o your secured home Wi-Fi netw ork in order to
rec eive the latest so ftwar e and firmwar e updates. T o set the Wi-Fi up, go t o:
> Configure Wi-Fi .

If you plan to install your baby unit in a designa ted
location, and use your home Wi-Fi network to
connect y our video monitor , y ou need to test
which of your selected monit oring areas within the
house have good Wi-Fi signal strength. After you
have po wer ed on y our parent unit, y ou can use
your paren t unit’s Wi-Fi signal str ength indicator
to assist in checking. Onc e you hav e identified the
suitable location, you can ins tall y our baby unit.
Adjust the distance betw een y our baby unit and
the Wi-Fi r outer if needed.
• Depending on surroundings and obstructing fact ors,
such as the effect distance and int ernal walls ha ve on
signal strength, you ma y e xperience r educed Wi-Fi
signal. T o impro ve the Wi-Fi signal str ength, adjust the
distance or direction of your parent unit. Check with
your parent unit again.

Why does the
baby monitor

normally?
T ry the follo wing (in the order listed) f or c ommon cure:
1. Disconnect the power to the baby unit and the parent unit.
2 . Wait a few sec ond s before connecting power back to the baby unit and the parent unit.
3. Turn on the baby unit and the parent unit.
4. Wait for the parent unit to synchronis e with the baby unit. Allow up to one minute
for this to take place.
Why doesn’t the
baby unit and par ent
unit power -on light
illuminate when the units
are switched on ?
Perhaps the parent unit is not c onnected t o the power . Insert the adaptorplug int o the
parent unit and insert the adap tor in a wall sock et. Then, press Power to switch on
the parent unit and to est ablish connection with the baby unit.
Perhaps the baby unit is not connected to the pow er . Insert the adap tor plug in to the
baby unit and insert the adaptor in a w all socket . Then, slide the ON/OFF switch to
ON to switch on the bab y unit to es tablish connection with the paren t unit.
Why doesn’t m y par ent
unit charge while
connected to AC power?
Make sur e the pow er is not contr olled by a electronic wall switch.

Why is my screen in
black and white?
The screen is in black and white during night-time or in a dark room when the night
vision featur e is activat ed. This is normal.
Why do I get glar e or
blurry displa y on m y
screen when viewing my
baby at night?
During night-time or in a dark room, the surroundings and other interf ering factors,
like lighting, objects, colours and back grounds ma y affect the image quality on your
parent unit screen. Adjust the baby unit angle or place the bab y unit at a higher lev el to
prev ent glar e and a blurry display .
Why does the bab y
monitor pr oduce a
feedback noise?
The parent unit and baby unit ma y be too close t o each other .
• Move the paren t unit aw ay from the bab y unit until the noise st ops; OR
• Turn do wn the volume of y our parent unit.
Why does the par ent
unit beep?
The baby unit(s ) may be out of range. Mo ve the parent unit closer to the bab y unit (but
not less than 1m ).
The parent unit may not ha ve enough char ge for the par ent unit to perform normally .
Charge the ba ttery in the paren t unit until the battery icon becomes solid .
The tempera ture of your baby’s r oom may be t oo high or too low .
Why does the par ent
unit react t oo quickly to
other sounds ?
The baby unit also picks up other sounds than those of y our bab y . Adjust the V O X
sensitivity le vel t o a lower lev el or low er the parent unit speaker volume.
Why don’t I hear a
sound/Why can’t I hear
my baby cry?
The parent unit speaker volume may be too low. See Adjus t parent unit speak er
volume to incr ease the volume.
Y ou may hav e set a low VO X sensitivity lev el. See Adjust the sound sensitivity of the
baby unit to set to a higher lev el.
Why can’t I est ablish a
connection? Wh y is the
