telephone base, lift the corded

handset or press .

3. To end the intercom call, press OFF

or place the handset back in the

charger. The cordless handset displays

Intercom ended.

To end the intercom call on the

telephone base, press or place the

corded handset back in the telephone

base.

• To cancel the intercom call before it is

answered, press OFF.

• Press OFF or MUTE on the cordless handset

to temporarily silence the intercom ringer.

• If the destination device is not powered,

out of range, on a call, or does not answer

the intercom call within 100 seconds, your

handset displays No answer. Try again. and

then returns to idle mode.

• Only one intercom call can be established at

a time.

Make intercom call using the

telephone base:

1. Press PAGE/INTERCOM. The

telephone base make intercom call to

all system devices.

2. To answer the intercom call on the

destination handset, press TALK or

. The cordless handset displays

Intercom.

3. To end the intercom call, press or

place the corded handset back in the

telephone base.

• To cancel the intercom call before it is

answered, press PAGE/INTERCOM.

Answer an incoming call during an

intercom call

When you receive an outside call during

an intercom call, there is an alert tone.

• To answer the outside call, press TALK.

The intercom call ends automatically.

• To end the intercom call without

answering the outside call, press OFF.

The telephone continues to ring.

Call transfer using intercom

Use the intercom feature to transfer an

outside call from the cordless handset to

the telephone base. You can also share an

outside call with the telephone base.

1. During a call with the cordless handset,

press MENU. Then, press SELECT to

select Intercom.

• If you have no additional

expansion handset or photo

speed dial handset, the cordless

handset displays Calling base. The

telephone base rings.

• If you have other registered

handsets,

the cordless handset

displays INTERCOM TO:. Press q or

p to choose a desired device and

then press SELECT.

You may also enter a destination

handset number (1-4), or press 0

for the telephone base, or press

TONE

for all devices.

The destination device rings. If you

have two or more cordless handsets,

the destination handset displays

HANDSET X is calling or HANDSET X is

calling all.
