1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The following GREEN SQUARE symbols indicate
proper use. The following RED CIRCLE symbols
indicate misuse and are provided as a visual
reminder for use. They are not an exhaustive list of
use instructions or warnings. Care, diligence and
common sense must be provided by the user when
using the ladder to avoid accident or injury. Failure
to follow any provided instructions will void your
warranty and could be considered misuse.
Explanation of the symbols
Read the instructions carefully.
WARNING - Falling from ladders can
cause serious injury or death. Heed all
safety precautions.
Maximum total load.
Inspect the rubber feet before each
use on wear and tear.
Keep a secure grip on the ladder when
ascending and descending. maintain a
handhold whilst working form a ladder
or take additional safety precaustions
if you cannot.
Maximum number of users.
Open the ladder fully before use.
Inspect the ladder after delivery.
Before very use visually check if the
ladder is not damaged and is safe to
use. Do not use a damaged ladder.
Do not overreach. Avoid work that
imposes a sideways load on ladders,
such as side-on drilling through solid
materials.
Do not step off the side of standing
ladder onto another surface.
Do not place the ladder on a unlevel or
unfirm base.
Do not ascent or descent unless you
are facing the ladder.
Do not erect ladder on contaminated
ground.
Do not overreach.
Do not carry equipment which is heavy
or difficult to handle while using a
ladder.
Do not wear unstuitable footwear
when climbing a ladder.
Do not use the ladder if you are not fit
enough. Certain medical condictions
or medication, alcohol or drug abuse
could make ladder use unsafe.
Do not use the ladder as a bridge
WARNING - Electricity hazard. Identify
any electrical risks in the work area,
such as overhead lines or other exposed
electrical equipment and do not use the
ladder where electrical risks occur.
