Checking the battery charging status (Fig. C-2)
To check the battery charge status, push the
button (28) on battery shortly.
The battery has 3 lights indicating the charge
level, the more lights that burn, the more charge
the battery has left.
When the lights are not burning it means the bat-
tery is empty and must be charged immediately.
Charging the battery with the charger (Fig. C-2)
1. Take the battery (4) from the machine.
2. Turn the battery (4) to upside down position and
slide it onto the charger (30) as shown in Fig.
C-2.
3. Push the battery until it is fully pushed into the
slot.
4. Plug the charger plug into an electrical outlet
and wait for a while. The LED indicators on the
charger (31) will lighten up and show the char-
ger status.
The charger has 2 LED indicators (29) which indi-
cate the status of the charging process:
Red LED Status Green LED status Charger status
Off Off No power
Off On
Standby mode:
- No battery is
inserted or,
- Battery inserted
but charging has
finished
On Off Battery charging in
progress
Fully charging the 2Ah battery may take up to
60 minutes.
Fully charging the 4Ah battery may take up to
120 minutes. After the battery is fully charged
remove the charger plug from the outlet and
remove the battery from the charger.
When the machine is not being used over a
longer period of time it is best to store the
battery in charged condition.
Connecting the motor unit to the spray unit
(Fig. D)
With one hand hold the motor unit (8) straight
up and with the other hand place the spray unit
(7) on a 90˚ angle onto the motor unit (8). Like
show in figure D.
Align the spray unit (7) slot with the notch insi-
de the motor unit (8). Rotate the spray unit (7)
90 degrees down until you hear a click.
Disconnecing the motor unit and spray unit (Fig. E.)
Hold the motor unit (8) and press the discon-
nect latch (6) in the direction to the spray unit
(7) and turn 90˚ degrees to take off the spray
unit (7).
Connecting and disconnecting the container to the
spray unit.
To connect: Align the container (11) with the
container cap(10) and tighten.
To disconnect: Loosen the container (11) from
the container cap (10)
Replacing the nozzle and nozzle needle
The nozzle will be assembled on the spray gun
when taken out of the box. To replace the nozzle
follow the following steps.
Loosen the nozzle nut (17) and remove it.
Take out the nozzle head (15) and Nozzle (14)
from the machine.
Loosen the nozzle needle (13) by using the
needle key (18) like show in figure I.
Take the new nozzle needle (24 or 26) and
place it back in the spray unit and tighten by
using the nozzle key (18)
Take the new nozzle (25 or 27) and attach it to
the nozzle head (15)
Place the nozzle head (15) and nozzle assembly
back in the spray unit
Close it by tightening the Nozzle nut (17).
4. OPERATION
Preparing the spray gun for use
Step 1: Viscosity/diluting of the paint
This appliance can process spray materials up to
max. 70 DIN/sec (viscosity). Low-viscosity coating
substances, water- and solvent based paints, fin-
ishes, primers, 2 component paint, clear finishes,
staining sealers and wood sealer preservatives
often do not need diluting. High-viscosity Wall
paints, thick varnishes and thick stains often do
need diluting.
