Mounting the sanding pad:
1. Mount the sanding pad (16) onto the machine.
2. Insert the bolt into the sanding pad (16) and
insert the hex key into the bolt.
3. Whilst holding the sanding pad (16) firmly, turn
the wrench clockwise to fasten the hex bolt.
4. OPERATION
Switching on and off (Fig. A)
To switch on the machine, move the on/off
switch (1) upwards.
To switch off the machine, move the on/off
switch (1) downwards.
Note: It is recommended to keep the motor running
for a short period of time after sanding, so that
residual dust can be collected into the bag.
Speed adjustment (Fig. A)
The required speed can be adjusted by using the
Speed adjustment wheel (2). Also during operation
the rotational speed can be adjusted.
To increase the speed, turn the Speed adjust-
ment knob (2) clockwise.
To decrease the speed, turn the Speed adjust-
ment knob (2) anti-clockwise. The required
speeds depends on the material and can be
determined by practical testing.
Adjusting the telescopic tube length (Fig. C2)
1. Untighten the Connector (15) by turning it anti-
clockwise.
2. Extract or detract the Telescopic tube to the
desired length. Be aware of the warning mark
on the telescopic tube, indicating the maximum
length to ensure stability.
3. Tighten the Connector (15) by turning it clockwise.
Locking the sanding head (Fig. E)
The sanding head movement can be locked into
upwards position. This way, working comfort during
sanding of ceilings is improved.
1. Move the Sanding pad (16) to upwards position,
as shown on figure E1
2. Whilst holding the Sanding pad (16), slide the
Strap (11) over the Clip (10) as shown on figure
E2.
To unlock the sanding head movement, simply
remove the Strap (11) from the Clip (10) by sliding
it off. The sanding head can now move freely.
Hints for optimum use
Firmly hold the machine with both hands.
Switch on the machine.
Place the sanding pad with sanding paper on
the workpiece.
Slowly move the machine over the workpiece,
firmly pressing the sanding pad against the
workpiece.
Do not apply too much pressure on the machi-
ne. Let the machine do the work.
Switch off the machine and wait for the ma-
chine to come to a complete standstill before
putting the machine down.
5. MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the machine from the
main power supply before carrying out any
maintenance work.
Clean the machine casings regularly with a soft
cloth, preferably after each use. Make sure that the
ventilation openings are free of dust and dirt. Re-
move very persistent dirt using a soft cloth moiste-
ned with soapsuds. Do not use any solvents such
as gasoline, alcohol, ammonia, etc. Chemicals such
as these will damage the synthetic components.
